Apr 10th 2009 6:29PM Whilst Slumdog Millionaire was an excellent movie, was it really representative of Bollywood's style?
The London Snowman { www.thelondonsnowman.co.uk } just passed through Bollywood on his way to the Taj Mahal for Easter, see here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PEz26-1zMi8 and found that Bollywood tends to be romantic Dance and Song oriented, whereas Slumdog followed a more westernized style of suspense structured storytelling.
But in terms of Box Office, does Bollywood outstrip Hollywood? maybe........

The London Snowman {www.thelondonsnowman.co.uk} has sent an Easter message from The Taj Mahal where he is trying to ask Govinda Easter Bunny Jai Jai about The Buddha Sidney Arthur, and hopes to spend Easter singing with the YEasters {who are actually singing to Hare Rama, but The London Snowman think this is the Easter Bunny, ie a Hare}...
