Hotels That Serve Glorified Prison Food For Breakfast {Gadling}
Aug 18th 2012 1:07PM I would like to know what makes the author of this story an expert. I am employed as a district manager for a large hotel chain that represents several brands. Our continental breakfasts which are included in the price of the room represents our commitment to our guests to offer a breakfast that meets brand standards and also represents the locations atmosphere. If you require a specific breakfast menu; it is best to go to a location that does indeed have a restaurant. While doing my property visits I always stop at the breakfast bar to get a feel for what our customers are eating and drinking. I prefer to do this anonymously and mingle with other guests. To associate that the food that is served in prison is what we offer is offensive. I am sure many other reasonable hoteliers feel the same way whether they are serving the food in a restaurant style or continental buffet style. Much to my appreciation; the desk clerk seemed very concerned with the comments of the author and wanted to show the manager what the guest concern was and did so proudly. That is more important than a pancake that hardened. The agent showed empathy and most importantly told the guest that their concern mattered. That is a lasting impression. So the next time this so called author writes about his travels throw the pancake at his head. He does not know what he is talking about.

Peyton Manning Takes Responsibility for Colts' Shocking Spiral {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Dec 6th 2010 4:38PM Hold on folks. I am a Pats/Brady fan and there is no better competitor than Peyton. They are a bruised club this year; like many other teams but they show up on game day. Remember they were down 17-0 early in the game and they rallied back to tie it and then OT. Who was the leader? Peyton. Don't count them out for the playoffs. I am not. I enjoy the rivalry of NE and Indy. He said he has to play better; that is leadership. Really folks; it ain't over yet. Good luck Indy fans.
Wade Phillips: 'I Still Want to Coach' {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Nov 29th 2010 4:20PM Fire Jerry Jones. Whatever team you support; look at the model of the Patriots. Mr. Kraft runs the business side and Mr. Belichick runs the football side. It works. The new coach may have a short term success but Jerry has a big new stadium to pay for. Parcells is probably the only one with limited recent success and even he bolted to Miami. Good luck Cowboy fans but you must fire Jerry first.

Patriots Take First Small Step Toward Rebuilding Their Dynasty {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Aug 14th 2010 12:41PM These are 2 great teams lead by 2 great coaches. Keep in mind this is practice time and the Pats sure looked ready. Both coaches are smart enough to know that pre-season poses talent vs. talent. The big thing that will come up is can the Pats regain the defensive dominance they once possessed. Saying that, if they do, they will be a team to fear again "if" they can. Remember defense wins championships. That was their motto when they were at the top of their game. As for the Saints; good luck again this season. Any team, and any coach knows going for the title 2 years in a row ain't easy!!!
