Aug 18th 2012 1:07PM I would like to know what makes the author of this story an expert. I am employed as a district manager for a large hotel chain that represents several brands. Our continental breakfasts which are included in the price of the room represents our commitment to our guests to offer a breakfast that meets brand standards and also represents the locations atmosphere. If you require a specific breakfast menu; it is best to go to a location that does indeed have a restaurant. While doing my property visits I always stop at the breakfast bar to get a feel for what our customers are eating and drinking. I prefer to do this anonymously and mingle with other guests. To associate that the food that is served in prison is what we offer is offensive. I am sure many other reasonable hoteliers feel the same way whether they are serving the food in a restaurant style or continental buffet style. Much to my appreciation; the desk clerk seemed very concerned with the comments of the author and wanted to show the manager what the guest concern was and did so proudly. That is more important than a pancake that hardened. The agent showed empathy and most importantly told the guest that their concern mattered. That is a lasting impression. So the next time this so called author writes about his travels throw the pancake at his head. He does not know what he is talking about.
Jan 24th 2011 10:32AM congrats packers and steelers. neither are my team but s/b a great superbowl. rex can have a footgate party in 2 wks. go pack....go curtain....
Dec 16th 2010 12:54PM Human wall. What are these jerks thinking about? Andy why was sexy Rexy so close? I bet you will see more film on this from this disgraceful loud mouth organization.
Dec 6th 2010 4:38PM Hold on folks. I am a Pats/Brady fan and there is no better competitor than Peyton. They are a bruised club this year; like many other teams but they show up on game day. Remember they were down 17-0 early in the game and they rallied back to tie it and then OT. Who was the leader? Peyton. Don't count them out for the playoffs. I am not. I enjoy the rivalry of NE and Indy. He said he has to play better; that is leadership. Really folks; it ain't over yet. Good luck Indy fans.
Nov 29th 2010 4:20PM Fire Jerry Jones. Whatever team you support; look at the model of the Patriots. Mr. Kraft runs the business side and Mr. Belichick runs the football side. It works. The new coach may have a short term success but Jerry has a big new stadium to pay for. Parcells is probably the only one with limited recent success and even he bolted to Miami. Good luck Cowboy fans but you must fire Jerry first.
Nov 2nd 2010 2:13PM Congrats Giants and their fans from a Red Sox fanatic.
Enjoy the success and celebrations.
Oct 23rd 2010 11:09AM I am not a fan of either team but it is nice to see new faces in the series. good luck rangers and good luck either philly or san fran!!! Be happy for the winners!!!
Aug 14th 2010 12:41PM These are 2 great teams lead by 2 great coaches. Keep in mind this is practice time and the Pats sure looked ready. Both coaches are smart enough to know that pre-season poses talent vs. talent. The big thing that will come up is can the Pats regain the defensive dominance they once possessed. Saying that, if they do, they will be a team to fear again "if" they can. Remember defense wins championships. That was their motto when they were at the top of their game. As for the Saints; good luck again this season. Any team, and any coach knows going for the title 2 years in a row ain't easy!!!
Jul 31st 2010 10:37AM Wonder how any experienced player feels, let alone TB
Mar 4th 2010 1:52PM Get well soon, Peyton. Football would not be the same without you. This from a die-hard Pats fan.
