Why do you think this planet is somewhere in the neighborhood of 6 Billion years old? How egotistical that you should think you have the power to bring this planet down, when 6 billion years of major disasters (not man-made) could not do the job. Now, then, for the ref and his idiotic call: that is the nature of soccer refs - they pick a team they like and then they call the game accordingly. That has been going on for years and years and years. Soccer sucks! Why would anyone play it?

Apr 6th 2010 10:30AM Ditto! Forget all the crap during most of the game. The intentional foul not called with 30 seconds left was the worst. It actually qualified for a "game technical" type foul that would have allowed Butler two shots AND the ball. That would have spelled the end of Coach K's reign and the refs, of course, couldn't allow that. OK, Butler lost. I get it! But, the best team on the floor, last night, did not win. Butler played way better without the reward that should have attended that quality. Your comment is the reason why and it is a shame that in the last 5-7 years, the refs have been the cause of such discourse. OH WELL! Congrats to the Butler Bulldogs. You are still number one with me.

Feb 23rd 2010 10:58AM Shame on all of you for believing that olympic events are judged subjectively or objectively. All judging is done on the basis of "whose turn it is" or "we owe them at least one more medal". I watched routines done by a few who finished well down the list who were way better than those who medaled. I agree that the USA team should have had Bronze but it just wasn't their turn, was it? Be happy that USA finished with a silver. They were decidedly better than the Canadians but nothing was going to stop the host country from getting at least one Ice award. The Olympics suck, anymore. It is more like watching a United Nations Meeting when it comes to the judges.
