Sep 29th 2010 8:52AM In the 70's when I was in high school I tried out for a black beauty contest...The only problem was I was white. Well it turned out it was not a problem...I was allowed to enter and I was 1st runner up. The local newspaper picked it up as a way to educate the public on race relations. To this day my friends remember me being the first white girl to enter the "Miss Soul" contest. The African American community embraced me. To this day I smile when I think about it. Let the poor girl be the King...she is not hurting anyone.

Parents need to teach their children to have resepect for adults and other students. Ha ha ha...I must be dreaming. IT ALL BEGINS AT HOME...Parents do your JOB.
