Oct 22nd 2009 10:08AM I applaud these sisters. I had a lap-band done 7+ months ago, and have lost 60 lbs. It was a last resort for me, having battled my weight most of my adult life. It wasn't an easy choice, and every day since has not been complication free, but I feel so much better than I have in years. If anyone is thinking about bariatric surgery, get as much info as you can, and follow your heart when making your decision. I don't regret for one minute making the choice to be healthy!

Feb 5th 2009 11:19AM Those of us with asthma and other related problems actually enjoy being able to go out and not have carcinogenic compounds blown in our faces. Smokers have rights....smoke at home or in your car, and leave the rest of us the clean air. WE have the right not to be killed by your second hand smoke.
