Short sales are equally as bad, the bank is really in the drivers seat . There could be no bids on a property for months ,suddenly you bid and like magic there are three or four other buyers that they say bid against you.....smoke an d mirrors really....

Apr 27th 2011 2:33PM seems like big waste to me, but consider the huge markups on these garmenst which are for the most part made overseas. The companies make serious porfits so why care about waste. The $70.00 pants probably cost maybe $5.00 . I think a much better use would be to donate the items to charities, lots of people need cloths and cannot afford to buy them.A much better use for them and great PR .

The designers are trying to brand themselves into a very rarified range to be in competion with Cartier, Harry Winston, Graff and Van Cleef & Arpels. They fall far from the mark. Plus the so called celebrities who borrow their items are dressed by stylists who for the most part have little taste or stlye....Give me an old fashioned movie star like Elizabeth Taylor , she owns her jewels and they are the finest....
