Drew Barrymore and Neiman Marcus Hook Up {Stylelist}

Jul 22nd 2011 9:15AM Drew is the whole package! Even as a child she showed she was a talented actress. I love to catch her on late night talk shows. She has a personality that is down to earth. That is very rare for someone that is so beautiful and talented. When I see interviews with her, I feel like I know her; or at least I could given the right situation.

Feds Raid Jam Band Cruise for Drugs {AOL Travel News}

Jan 11th 2011 9:06AM Hey VonDau,

Just for the record, my brain is fine. I am a productive citizen. I have held a really good job for over twenty-five years. I have a 21 year old son and a 3 year old grandson. Have I smoked the occasional joint? Sure! and I inhaled, and I liked it. The problem with people like you is that you refuse to accept the fact the there are really alot of people like me. Upstanding citizens, that like to occasionally use relatively harmless drugs and/or alcohol in a social setting.

"J"
If I were allowed to grow pot in my garden I wouldn't be buying it from the Mexican Drug Lords. It's supply and demand. They have to have customers to stay in business.

Feds Raid Jam Band Cruise for Drugs {AOL Travel News}

Jan 10th 2011 9:15PM This is kinda like if they would have raided Woodstock. Who the hell were those people hurting? I can think of alot more pressing problems that I would like to see our Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and U.S.Marshals Service spending their time on!!

No Love for Dove -- Women Don't Like Models Who Look Like Them {Lemondrop}

May 6th 2010 10:37AM This study doesn't surprise me. I think it is going to take some time for everyone to rethink their concept of beauty. Magazines and advertisers have got the ball rolling. It is going to take a lot longer than a few months or even years for sociaty to accept a new standard of what is beautiful. Even though the models have changed, average women are still comparing themselves to the same old standard. Women will continue to do this until sociaty at large convinces them that there really is a new standard. Keep showing us what MOST women really look like and things will continue to get better.

Roger Waters Blames David Gilmour Over Pink Floyd Silence {Spinner}

May 5th 2010 8:35AM Syd physically disappeared from the band early. I will agree that he continued to be a muse of sorts for Roger and David for many years. So, I think a reunion would be more Floyd than you realize.

Booze Banned at Campgrounds {AOL Travel News}

Apr 29th 2010 7:31AM If Maryland uses a common sense approach to enforcement it can have its cake and eat it too. Though not mentioned in the article, Kentucky's state parks don't allow alcohol. But I've found this to mean "Don't let us see it". If you pour your beer into cups and don't act like dunken slobs, nothing is ever said. On the other hand the rules are in place and can be enforced on the few that want to spoil the good time for others.

'Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution' - Potato Pearls and Self-Loathing {Slashfood}

Mar 23rd 2010 3:57PM I live in Ashland, KY...across the river from Huntington. I was quite disturbed last year when I heard our region was pinpointed as the most unhealthy in the country. I'm excited about Jamie's program. I watched it Sunday evening and plan to watch it as long as it runs. It's a shame that he was met with such negative attitudes from the people he was trying to help. It really shows what has gone wrong in our country. Some of the people were so cocky and irreverant, as they pushed the blame off on others. "We don't make the rules.", "We are told what we have to serve." , so does that make it right? Hell no, it doesn't make it right! Who makes these rules? Government agencies do. That means we have the power to change it! That's what people need to remember. The government works for us, not the other way around. I wish Jamie and this program all the success in the world. If he can open peoples' eyes to something as easy to see as their own nutrition, maybe that will be a start to teaching people to take responsibility for other aspects of their lives as well.

Support for Obama and Democrats Slips Among 'Millennial' Generation {Politics Daily}

Feb 21st 2010 4:42PM The Pew Research Center is an American think tank organization based in Washington, D.C. that provides information on issues, attitudes and trends shaping the United States and the world. The Center and its projects receive funding from The Pew Charitable Trusts. The Pew Research Center is a strictly non-advocacy organization, while the Pew Charitable Trusts supports advocacy and non-advocacy projects.

The Trusts, a single entity, is the successor to and sole beneficiary of seven charitable funds established between 1948 and 1979 by the adult children of Sun Oil Company founder Joseph N. Pew and his wife, Mary Anderson Pew.

NOT A RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATION

Then vs. now: How prices have changed since 1999 {WalletPop}

Jan 2nd 2010 1:14AM Bob, and all of you others. Your normal expenses or at least a part of them is included in this. For example, the difference in water and food costs, for three people vs. two. The amount of gas money spent running them to school, ball practice, and all. I don't think the number is that unreasonable if you take all of those type of expenses into account.
