Post-quake life in Tokyo {Gadling}
Apr 10th 2011 9:16PM I too have lived in Japan, not at the present time though. I feel like it is my second home. I have many dear friends both Japanese and Expats still there. This writer hit the mark with his comments. The Japanese will survive this because they will work together and help each other with out complaint. My prayers and thoughts are for a speedy recovery for this beautiful Country.
How People Reacted to My Baby's Name {ParentDish}
Jun 9th 2010 9:44PM When my fifth child was born I was told she was going to be another boy like my first four were. I had only boy's names picked out. I asked my son's to come up with a name. My four year old said how about "Girl" since she is a girl. We decided to name her
Colleen which is slang for an Irish girl and her middle name is Erin.
Roughly translated her name is girl from the Emerald Isle.
Sarah Palin at Belmont Stakes in T-shirt, Cargo Pants, and Trucker Hat {Stylelist (Main)}
Jun 8th 2010 9:29AM I'd like to know how you get lost going from either NYC airport to the race track? Does someone really think a limo company would have sent a driver who didn't know how to get from point A to point B to pick up the Palins.
Forgot your passport? Here's a way out! {Gadling}
May 25th 2010 10:14AM For the person who implied the driver was an Arab, get a brain. The name of the limo company was Tel Aviv Limo. Tel Aviv is in Isreal. Not too many Muslims would work for a company by that name.
New Travolta Pregnancy Sparks Scientology Rumors {PopEater}
May 21st 2010 5:44PM This is a private family matter between the Travoltas. They have always been loving parents to their children. If they choose to have a child to fill the void left by the death of their son so what. Many families who loose a child decide to add to their family. This does not mean they don't love this new little life. If you can't be happy for them try keeping to yourself.
Is Kagan Gay? It's All the Talk, and That's a Shame {Politics Daily}
May 14th 2010 10:00AM I keep hearing people say that Elena Kagan is not qualified to serve on the Supreme Court because she has never been a judge. If (and when) she is approved she would be the 41st person to serve on the high court without first having been a judge. This group of people includes some of the most prominent Supreme Court members in history, including Louis
Brandeis, William Rehnquist and Earl Warren. There have been only 112 members of the highest court in our land and 40 so far have not been judges. Ms Kagan according to the Constitution is more than qualified.
John Edwards and 'Camera Girl' Rielle Hunter: Did Reporters Miss the Picture? {Politics Daily}
Apr 30th 2010 7:12PM After seeing this woman on Oprah I truly believe she has more than a few screws loose. The whole thing makes me sick. First of all Rielle Hunter isn't even her real name. She went on and on about the truth and being who her and Johnny really are. I think that John Edwards, both Mr & Mrs Young and Rielle deserve each other.
Children Chubbier When Watched by Grandparents, Study Shows {ParentDish}
Feb 18th 2010 11:23AM Maybe children who are watched by their grandparents weigh more because they spend longer days with their grandparents than they do in a traditional daycare facility. My one granddaughter spent 12 hours a day with me and then went home and ate dinner between 8-9PM. During the day she was fed home cooked healthy meals but for dinner she more often than not had fast food. Also have you ever seen the food served in daycare centers? Most of it ends up in the garbage can because the workers are too busy or just don't care if the kids eat what they serve.
Divorce, Nevada Style: The Saga of Gov. Jim Gibbons {Politics Daily}
Jan 6th 2010 8:55AM He is a Rebublican so your point doesn't make much sense.
Protecting Our Kids From Obama's Subversive 'Eat Your Peas' Message {Politics Daily}
Sep 5th 2009 12:48AM Our couuntry is really in trouble. How many of these parents really know what is taught in their child's classroom day in and day out. The President wants to encourage our future generation to stay in school, work hard and possibly eat healthy and parents are upset. Does anyone not care how stupid this makes our citizens look to the rest of the world?
The very fact that the most powerful man in the world is taking time from his job to encourage children to set goals for themselves is enough for me. Lets get real people many of us have much more important things to worry about.
