Jon and Kate Set The Record Straight {ParentDish}
Apr 8th 2009 7:54PM I think that Jon & Kate have done what they can with the environment they live in. First of all, people say that Kate is overbearing and controlling, but Jon probably knew the type of person she was when he married her (duh) and thus is the reason why he loves her. Yes, he does seem to get aggrivated when Kate treats him kinda "babyish", but she always appologizes and they always make up after a fight or some angry words, which is shown numerous times on the show. I mean jeeze, you have 8 kids (6 of which are under the age of 4) and you see how calm you stay. It must be extremely difficult to have all of those kids, and I think Kate and Jon are doing a magnificent job raising the 8 of them. They seem as though they are in it for the long haul and this whole experience will only make them stronger in the end. And as for the "reality" show... She is not like some octo-mom. They had no idea they were going to end up with six children all at once. Like Kate said, I think this is the most real reality show ever. I love it & I love the family! I would love to meet them in person. They seem great... =]
Dirtiest Hotels in the United States {Gadling}
Jan 29th 2009 7:54AM I notice that 3 out of the 10 are Days Inn. Well, I would have to agree. While my boyfriend was away in the military, i would take monthly road trips to go see him on the weekends. We would stay at the Days Inn in Newport News, VA well, because it was cheap. Needless to say, it showed it. I left the hotel once with bites all over me, and another time, there was a dirty fork actually stuck inside the curtains of the room. The walls were stained and the rugs... well, different story. All 10 of these hotels should be a Days Inn, because by the looks of it, no one has had a good experience in one.

Jan 23rd 2009 6:59AM I cannot even believe this. I work at a daycare and those kids right now are MY life, and they aren't even mine! I cannot wait for the day I have my own child. I will be overjoyed and so in love. I will want to spend every minute with my child, no matter what.
