Really? How do you know?
MANY asked--The additional tragedy of orphaned children, and pets left behind, only added to the numbing totality of grief on that day and in the ensuing weeks. In the NYC area, where people are more dependent on neighbors than one might imagine, neighborhoods were bereft.
And yet at least in the NYC area, MANY of those same grief-stricken family members and neighbors rescued animals which had been left (some for a long time), knowing the deceased (or "missing") lived alone--save for a pet.
Ask yourself who "nobody" is.
And your comment about crew 'focusing' on rescuing animals is ridiculous on its face. Priorities are not exclusive.
