Aug 28th 2010 4:52PM Freddy, more than likely the stockholders of your company won't think the money's being "pissed away," because they are getting the SAME perks at THEIR companies! Have you ever noticed when a company closes plants and lays off workers, the value of the company stock usually goes UP? That's because both stockholders and company execs look at "employees in the field" as "dead weight" during a bad economy. Stockholders want to see dividends from their holdings, REGARDLESS of the current economic condition. If the top brass can increase dividends by having arcade games, nap rooms, on-site gourmet restaurants and yoga "environments" to meet that objective, the greedy stockholders will usually say, "GO FOR IT!"

Apparently, Shannon did not pick up on the fact that the people involved in this project were HIRED TO COVER NEWS STORIES.....NOT TO CREATE VIDEO PROJECTS! If they want to write for TV or film, they should have moved to Hollywood and NOT to Arkansas! Perhaps they would then have the opportunity to meet their biggest fan, SHANNON, in LA-LA Land! ;o))

Jul 16th 2010 3:04PM Obviously, Shannon, you have no affiliation with the broadcast media. As a 25-year broadcast veteran, I can say I was very shocked by what I saw and heard. It's very evident that not only were those involved using station equipment, but I'm sure many of the scenes were shot on "station time," when these employees should have been doing their jobs. And what about the YouTube postings - did they really think NOBODY in Arkansas commerce or broadcasting would see this, or care enough to do anything about it? Forget creativity! What these individuals did was irresponsible, and damages the credibility of KARK-TV as a broadcasting outlet, and their news department as a credible source of broadcast journalism. Most likely the only employer that will hire them now is Mel Gibson!

The Jack LaLanne machine is a JUICER.....it's engineered to extract the most JUICE possible out of the fruits and vegetables it processes. It's all about JUICE, and JUICE ONLY!
A blender does just that....it ONLY BLENDS together whatever is placed in the machine. There ARE some people who have to watch their intake of fiber and pulp for certain intestinal conditions, so a JUICER is the logical choice. And, there are some people who may not prefer ANY pulp in their juice, so the JUICER also makes sense for that scenario.
If you think your $30 blender is so great, where's your infomercial? Oh, that's right, I forgot...you're too busy pulling fully-loaded semis down the highway with a rope clenched in your teeth!

Apr 6th 2009 10:19PM Well, Brianna, the gamers can tell you there are some real hot "R-leaning-to-X-rated" scenes in many video games.....some are buried in the game levels, others can only be accessed by those skilled in hacking through the programming code. Many gamers can get addicted to the challenge of breaking the codes to get to the "hidden" scenes, while others probably just get hooked on playing the games in their "stock" versions. I would imagine there are some that love the games because it allows them to focus on something they like to do without being constantly interrupted by a significant other/spouse, who have given up trying to pry them away from these addictive diversions!
