Dec 19th 2008 7:14PM Yes all the airports have the same guidelines. Whether or not the people in certain airports follow the guidelines is not the fault of those that do. If you would rather the ones that DO their jobs to stop so you are not hassled then by all means. However, do not criticize those airports doing their jobs and making a difference. How about instead of being upset at the people that work everyday to keep us safe, be mad at the ones that made these policies go into affect!!! The TERRORISTS!!!

Dec 19th 2008 7:11PM Just so you know, slapping the EDT machine would not change the result. Sometimes, when you drop the trap in you have to hit it to make sure it recognize it. The reason your bag was stopped for EDT was because you in all likely hood were "beating off" and the lotion got on the bag. That is what 99% of males that get tested end up being. The glycerin in your "lotion" sets off a explosives detection that needs further screening.
The TSA can be stupid but a lot of these stories are ridiculous!!

Dec 19th 2008 2:38PM I am really tired of all the bad mouthing of TSA. EVERY agency, every JOB for that matter has it's screw ups. I used to work in an airport and I had my fair share of annoyances while going to work. However, I am the first to say that with all the annoyances I saw a lot of great things. The Mac book being a bomb, well HAD it been and they let it go simply because it had the apple logo on it and then it blew up what would you say to that "Stupid TSA lets Apple bomb though"? I mean come on they can do NO right it seems. I agree there are some bad stories out there but that does not discount EVERY SINGLE action ANY TSA Officer makes.
