Hippie Masala - the travelers that never went home {Gadling}

Jan 11th 2009 7:04PM There are countless people who move to other parts of the planet and never return to their original home. I think we should not confuse the world traveler, or travelers with the word moved. These people moved to the other end of the planet, and India is a good place for many. I believe expat fit into two major catetories, the wanted and the unwanted. I am not sure about myself, I have am homeless and have traveled perpetualy for over 10 years, I think I am the unwanted. This year in tech - what 2009 will bring for travelers {Gadling}

Jan 4th 2009 7:50AM I hope the method of charging the Ipods is made better, one of my friends who visited me here in Guatemala has an Ipod, the other had a similar product. Both wanted to use my USB port to charge these devices, and this annoyed me. I have to run my computer to have power to the USB and they want to give it to me at night, then return later. They need to have a charger adapter with them if they travel. I am writing a daily tip for the year of 2009 and soon this will be a topic. People who buy the Acer or the other smaller computer need to know how they are going to load on the software...

My one friend brought me an Acer to sell here in Guatemala, it will pay for the one way Taca.com ticket to Guatemala. Thanks from Andy of HoboTraveler.com Travel Blog and HoboHideOut.com Hotels

What Is The Future Of The Hotel Minibar? {Luxist}

Dec 16th 2008 6:00PM I cannot say I am an upscale traveler, however, I am in many room with the fridge. Sadly, when I now see a pack fridge I instantly lose respect for the Hotel. Ofter over in Asia the only Hotels with stocked fridges are the one where the men constantly bring women into the Hotels.

Upon entering a room with a mini-bar I instantly ask them to empty the fridge so I can use it. What is the point in having a fridge that has no space for my food.
