Mar 11th 2009 11:46AM In Korea, it was a REAL SHAME how the ROKs (locals) were treated! We looked down on them like so much trash...especially the ladies...soldiers (Army and Marines) treated them like garbage, between campaigns.
I am proud to have served (U.S. Army) but ashamed how we treated the locals (even in PEACEtime)!
