Cascading changes likely for cruise travelers {Gadling}
Jan 25th 2012 9:23AM My wife and I have taken 6 cruises on Holland America. Everyone of them had the life-boat drill within 2 hours of departure and in front of your assigned life-boat. I felt they were a pain in the butt, until now. It appears that the biggest cause of this accident was a Captain who thought he was above the rules. How much will it cost the cruise lines to evaluate all of their command personell? Or do we have to go through another TSA nightmare to check passengers. I don't think any passenger ran that ship into a rock!
What Happens if You Decline a Full Body Scan? {AOL Travel News}
Nov 17th 2010 10:14AM Has TSA ever stopped an attack with all of this crap? If they have, I didn't hear about it. The recent close calls were all Muslim males 17-40 who flew into America from countries that don't do these searches.

Nov 17th 2010 9:14AM First of all the constitution does give citizens the right to move freely, that sounds like traveling to me. I think we all believe in the need for security but common sense is needed. All these close calls "under wear bomber" "Ink cartridges" etc. originated in other countries that don't use these searches. During the past ten years has TSA ever prevented a "real attack" with these millions of searches to innocent Americans? If so. I didn't hear about it. The past 2 decades every terrorist attack has been a Muslim male 17 to 40 but we still insist on searching grandma. There has got to be a better way!
Food stamp use skyrockets: How one family puts food on the table {WalletPop}
Nov 30th 2009 9:22AM I'm tired of ALL the bailouts! Banks, Insurance companies, car companies, people who have children they can't afford, people who drop out of school, dopers and aliens who come to this country and can't support themselves. How about a little personal responsibility.
Bill O'Reilly's Jesus Quote -- Controversy or Consistency? {Asylum}
Dec 11th 2008 11:08AM I like the guy! When my friends start "bad mouthing" O'Reilly I ask them how often they have really watched him. After considerble "squirming" they invariably reply, "well I never really watched him" or "I saw him once". I don't agree with him all the time but he certainly stimulates my thought process, which is more than I can say for many of his detractors.
