Vanishing America: The Drive-In Theater {Gadling}
Jun 4th 2012 3:49PM Nice video from start to finish, but kinda sad, especially for folks like me who grew up in the drive-in theatre era. Many fond memories of summertime, living the the country, with a drive-in theatre less than a mile in a field in back of our house.

7 Things That Drive Vets Crazy {Pawnation OLD}
Dec 18th 2011 12:28AM Oh my goodness...i had no idea. I abide by all, except taking my cat for appointments in a carrier. It never occurred to me that would bother my vet and her staff. Some of my cats go in carriers--it depends on their personality. I had one cat who was so docile that i set her on the chair beside me in the waiting room and she sat there until we were called. She lived to be 20, so she had lots of visits. No dogs ever bothered her. In my many, many years of vet visits, guess i've always had the good fortune to be in the waiting room with the friendliest, nicest dogs. Guess i owe my vet an apology. I never considered that i was putting my cat in danger. All the dogs and cats were so well behaved.

Amy Winehouse Makes Surprise Live Return in London Pub {Spinner}
Oct 7th 2010 12:36PM For those who believe that common sense and control come from God, and the ability to find or recover those attributes is only by God's grace, your comments seem foolish. You who condemn judging have judged. Read again all that's here. Steven R. Russell said nothing mean-spirited or to belittle. Did you? A wise Jew in recent times said "We are all Jews--some just believe in Jesus." Keith, "imperical" is a nice word, but it's spelled "empirical." Maybe just a typo, and i'm sorry to be picky, but thought since i'm writing i'd let you know so the next time you use it--and i hope in a positive way--it's spelled correctly. The good wishes for Amy are the comments i enjoyed reading the most.

Aug 9th 2010 9:04PM Am i remembering correctly the name of the movie as 'A Face in the Crowd' she starred in with Andy Griffith and Lee Remick? Her character portrayal was poignant and Oscar worthy.

Oct 28th 2009 2:08PM "Coincidence is God choosing to act anonymously." God is allowing you contact with your loved ones as signs of reassurance that they are all right and you will be too. Lisa, Rick, Patsy and MungoDaddy, and all on here who have suffered such personal loss, you have my deepest sympathy. God bless and comfort you always.
