They would rather repo the house and let it become tomorrows slum than do anything intelligent with the property, like work with the owner or lease or rent it out or anything like that. Remember....these are the same idiots that got us into this mess with their greed and that we "BAILED OUT" with out tax dollars. Recovery is not possible because all these poor souls that lost their homes can no longer qualify for a mortgage because of poor credit ratings!!!! So there are not nearly enough buyers to offset the available inventory held by these idiot lenders!!!
