Geneva home to the world's first mobile airport terminal {Gadling}

Feb 9th 2011 1:36PM Delta is using, what seems to be, the same exact terminals inside their under construction Sky Club lounge in LGA.

Kansas City's empty arena {Gadling}

Apr 20th 2009 4:51PM Is this a joke?? Sprint Center is by no means empty. Yes, it has no NBA team, but they have concerts/events every about every 3 days. I know because I live less than 2 blocks away. http://www.pollstar.com/resultsVenue.aspx?ID=119814&SortBy=Date&SearchBy=sprint%20center
Just for shows listed on Pollstar (doesn't even include many of the events held there), there are 21 major concerts.

The surrounding restaurants/bars have hardly been open a year and new places are opening up every month. AMC's flagship movie theater with bar and grill is opening up on May 1. They just opened a downtown grocery store a couple months ago. There's a new upscale 24 hour diner opening up. Barely any retail has opened yet.

I'd be happy with an NBA team for KC but the sprint center is by no means empty.

First all female African American flight crew makes history {Gadling}

Mar 3rd 2009 6:51PM How do you even know this is the first time this has happened? Do airlines keep statistics about how many minorities work each flight? This has to have at least already happened in smaller planes.

Budget Travel: San Juan, PR {Gadling}

Jan 14th 2009 12:47PM I just visited San Juan over Christmas. It was beautiful, but the worst part was that we stayed at the classic Hilton Caribe. The hotel is nice, but the location sucks and the hotel has no local food, besides the $14 Pina Colada. With the taxi situation, $12 to Old San Juan one-way (+$2 person over 5 people). Dinner's immediately were expensive because the bus is not safe in the evening.

Microsoft builds pretend retail store, wants to play house later {Engadget}

Jan 13th 2009 1:26PM Wow.
This is NOT a B2B store. It's not even. It's only a DEMO of what type of enterprise software Microsoft offers to retailers and includes some of their other technologies. This is more for selling to potential Microsoft Dynamics ( Microsoft's ERP) solution to retailers. It probably includes things like their Retail Management System, POS system, WMS, OMS, E-Commerce, CRM, etc.

Through the Gadling Lens: great gifts for the travelling photographer {Gadling}

Dec 16th 2008 1:01PM I've got the Flip Mino HD. It's great! I'll take it out on a friday night. Get some great quotes from people and add in some cool action shots. In the end, I have a 3-5 minute video of the whole evening hilarity. It's a great way to capture the fun on the road!

Reminder - Gading's 10 days of gadget giveaways {Gadling}

Dec 2nd 2008 11:35AM I travel way too much with way too many gadgets. This would be lovely.

Also, you guys should cover Outlier's pants. http://outlier.cc/2008/11/outlier_4season_black_lotus.php

Perfect travel companion pants. Nano-technology and all-weather. Avoid those nasty stains you're inevitably going to get in the airport and be prepared for a chilly airplane, hot weather in airzona.
