Apr 6th 2013 8:10AM This is why after we lived in a town house developement that had an HOA. People really do not understand the power they have given to any HOA. Did you know that if you do not pay their membership and or fines they can take your home? After we fought with ours for several years we sold the house and moved to a home that didn't have any HOA's. To date if we purchase real estate it is always without a HOA. They have far to much power.

May 16th 2011 9:35AM Well it depends if Comcast who know's people get their retirement checks on the third of each month has decided not only to charge a 10% interest to the bill but cut's you off midnight on the second of each month (Hey that's when the retirement checks go in) so you not only pay now a 10% interest to the bill but reconnect fees this started in May 2011. SURPRISE! Thanks COMCAST and to think we have been such loyal customers.

Being of Celtic heritage, alot of our heritage was handed down by way of verbal teaching one being the Wiccan relegion. Mar 24th 2011 12:43PM I don't believe that titles for anyone in our society are obsolete. It would be appropriate to say that manners are becoming obsolete for some families. I am rather proud of being a Mrs. and when I was younger it was Missie or Miss, Mr., yes Sir, pardon me Mrs it's all manners and it is rather scarey just how ill manner a large percent of our children in the US are. When looking at the tragic event's that has happened in Japan they all still have manners in place amazing there has not been any looting they wait patiencely in line to receive water, food, medications, to get what they need. Unlke Katrina where the people were running around in waste deep waters with a 45/50 inch LCD TV's and high end tennis shoes amoung other merchandise. Where were they taking these stolen items? Everywhere was flooded I remember it amazed me. Then the help came and fighting began, it's just a sorry state when people in the USA act like animals. So this Mrs. here believes that it would behoove parent's in the US to teach their children proper manners which includes how to address their seniors and friends.
