Feb 21st 2011 7:37AM GM Fd up when they dropped Pontiac. It should have been Buick. I still don't understand the concept of dropping brands if all the cars use the same bodies and engines and come off the same assembly line.. basically it is just a few minor cosmetic changes that make the cars different. Some how GM made billions back when all their divisions made their own cars and motors.. they shared platforms sometimes but each division had their own motors.. now they can't keep a division afloat because they can't afford some brand stickers to put on the cars? I need a job!!! GM should hire me. I would have never dropped the F body for so many years and let Mustangs get the sales. I would make F bodies here in the states not Canada. I would never have dropped the rear wheel drive Caprice. GM made thousands of sales to law enforcement and Taxi companies.. Ford and Chysler took those sales with the Charger and Crown VIc. You can't blame the fall of GM on some crappy cars. Yeah I admit they made some crappy cars.. but again that is MANAGEMENT... you can trace most of GMs problems to management and bean counters. For cripes sakes put out a product with just a little more quality, performance and innovation and you will do fine. You are starting to get the idea now but what took you so freaking long????

Feb 15th 2011 6:14AM I started being a #3 fan as Petty was fading. As soon as I saw that Black #3 I was in. I heard of Dale but never really noticed him until he was in Goodwrench colors. It was great he won 7 championships. I wanted him to win more but I also didn't want him to outshine Petty. That Daytona would have been a dream day with a 1-2-3 finish. It's too bad it turned into a nightmare.

Feb 11th 2011 12:25AM They have been using these motors as marine engines since 2009. This one has a bigger super charger. If anybody thinks the cast hypereutetic pistons can't handle the boost look up "GM marine dock test" and see what they put these engines through to test them. This engine is almost identical to the marine version. The "Marine Dock," an engine is run at virtually wide-open throttle for 300 hours straight (60-minute cycle—55 minutes wide-open-throttle/5 minutes idle).

Feb 9th 2011 1:07PM That was the day NASCAR died. It will never be he same again. Richard Petty retired and Kyle never could fill his shoes.... Dale Earnhardt Jr. will never be Dale Earnhardt Sr. NASCAR micro management has f'd up the sport with rules,restrictions, fines, COT, points chase etc. Jimmy Johnson is great and I have a lot of respect for him, but NASCAR is not the same.
