Aug 20th 2006 10:29AM I have raised 2 boys, now age 25 and 29 and I never had any problems with them in public. As an earlier comment states: Dicipline is Dicipline. NO means NO, not maybe. My kids knew that at an early age. I wish parents would stop being afraid of being parents. You are responsible for them until they are 18 (or beyond), so it's to your benefit to lay down the law early in their lives. It helps when they get older. They have actually thanked me for my 'strictness'...of course that came much later. But it's worth the wait.
