Jul 21st 2009 2:32PM While cliche' My road trip would be down, and up, Californias Rt 1 because when my wife and i took out honeymoon there, we were to pressed for time to drive it and had to skip one of the most famous things in California.
But we would like to drive it up to san Fransisco area and hike/camp along the way as well as spend more time in redwood forest.
And then take our time as we leisurely drive down Rt -1 back to LA stopping to relax and get massages and wine/dine (not for the driver of course) along the way.
This would be a short, but much deserved vacation for my wife, one which i cant really afford for her right now......

May 22nd 2009 6:08PM I, an american, have been to israel MANY MANY times and have never been near or seen ANY terrorist activity. Israel is SAFE and FUN!!
-you can go to the desert, go up north and see beautiful green fields
-you can go to the dead sea, or next door to "ein gedi" which is a nature reserve with beautiful water falls....in the MIDDLE OF THE DESERT!!
I have been many times and cant wait to go back.

Uniform changes, soft drinks wait for Delta and NWA {Gadling}
Apr 2nd 2009 9:35AM i hate delta, even thought i fly them all the time and have tons of miles with them. i need to make a last minute trip to orlando and i have miles on NWA, and wanted to use my miles for a one way tickets, but i cant because all the flights are "delta" and not "NWA" and only NWA does one way.

Ten things to know before you go bobbing in the Dead Sea {Gadling}
Mar 20th 2009 1:15PM I've been to the dead sea many times, and it IS AMAZING!!!
You walk in, turn around and lay baaaack and you just float...its like your sitting on a char or something.
But make sure to not shave ANYWHERE, and carefull of cuts, even small ones will get notices when your floating in salt. And even thought your in water, DO NOT dunk!!!
on a side note, there is a place across form the dead sea called "Ein Gedi", which is bacially a nature preserve with georgous water falls...IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DESERT!!! its like 10 min away, and deffenetly worth the trip.
I am an american but travel alot, and Israel is NOT as dangerous or scary as the media makes it seems.
