Jul 22nd 2010 1:34PM Its not the worst but I ended up at the Skybar in Bangkok eating at the dessert buffet. 1 whole mango cake later and a bunch of other tidbits I was out for the count with sugar induced food coma and thinking about puking off the edge of the building. At least the cake was good :D

Captive audience: crying babies and air travel {Gadling}
Mar 23rd 2010 12:26AM I am fine with babies crying. However when the kid is over the age of 10....
I was stuck on a flight from Bangkok to Tokyo and we were sitting in the plane for at least an hour from when we boarded and from the beginning I heard this boy wailing away right behind me. I ignored it at first since I figured it would probably stop sometime reasonably soon. An hour later you could tell that he wasn't actually crying but he was forcing the sounds out and nobody was attempting to stop him so I turn around and was shocked to find out that it was this kid that was definitely over 10 just going at it...
I managed to ignore most of it but after an hour and finding out that it was a grown kid I was about ready to pop my eardrums out..
Do you guys think you would react differently if it was a baby vs a grown kid?

Feb 19th 2010 10:27PM I have been to Thailand a couple of times and just love the place. The views from the skybar are simply amazing. I haven't had the luck of staying at the lepua state tower yet so hopefully this will be the chance!
