Top 10 types of travel theft (and how to be safe) {Gadling}
Apr 11th 2011 2:54PM In Hong Kong, a lady stole my cheap 2$ umbrella! (There was heavy rain outside) She presented her as a kind of recruiter and she asked me to write my coordinates on a paper while she was kindly holding my umbrella. When I returned the paper, she "forgot" to give me back my umbrella.
It was not a big lost, but I've been amazed by how simply she managed to grab my attention and steal me.

Notes from Portugal: Hanging Santa {Gadling}
Jan 3rd 2008 4:32AM I'm currently in Italy and they have the same kind of decorations. But those are not hanging Santas, they're climbing Santas. The rope is in their hands, to help them climb in the window...
I personally don't really like those, but it seems to be really popular.
