Lawmakers Plot To Limit Travel Abroad And At Home {Gadling}
Apr 12th 2012 11:42AM Yes we have borders... they are called state lines. We learned that in school.
Would You Spend $80,000 on a Playhouse? {AOL Real Estate}
Oct 28th 2011 3:11AM I'm neither jealous nor envious... I had quite an extravagant playhouse and many other things as a child. As an adult I still have my "Toys"... and I "Get" that it is their money and they can do as they please... but 80,000 on a Playhouse is ridiculous. Imagine the families that could feed for 6 months... the children it could clothe... the houses it could build for those without.
There comes a time when our basic self-centeredness and habit of not looking beyond our own desires has to take backseat to the needs of others. When you really have to think of others as well, and what you can do to help others less fortunate. The fact that so many think it is ok to be this self absorbed without thinking of the good they could do instead, is saddening to me.
Should You Sleep With Your Dog? The Pros and Cons of Sharing the Bed {Pawnation OLD}
Sep 19th 2010 10:25PM I will just saying it plainly. Bobby, you are stupid, and I feel extremely sorry for you, that you've not had the experience of non-judgmental, unconditional love that a pet can give you. First, humans are classified as animals, so another ANIMAL in the bed won't hurt, and if its hygiene you are thinking of, well, they are just as clean, if not cleaner than some people. Second, put them over a human? Sure, any day... a dog has never lied, cheated, or backstabbed. They have more honesty and are more straightforwardness than most humans.
As for "people who put animals before any human relationships or animal "needs" (wishes) before human needs or preferences ..." Well God -if you believe in Him- gave us dominion over the creatures of earth, and sadly for you that does not mean he just gave us the right to use/abuse, and eat them... it also means he gave us the responsibility to CARE, NURTURE, and LOOK AFTER his creations.... and at this moment, I would rather care for a warthog than for you. You are a good example of why so much animal abuse is prevalent.
Moviefone Mash: Movie Spoilers {Moviefone Blog}
Sep 6th 2010 10:11PM Anyone with the intellience to READ the Wizard of Oz books (Yes, the movie was based on a book.. a whole SERIES of books) will know that it was NOT a dream in the books.
Only when they made a movie based on the first book, did they turn the whole thing into a dream.
Are Dior's 'Shanghai Dreamers' Photos Racist? No, It's Just Art {Lemondrop}
Sep 3rd 2010 5:46AM So they all look alike, what of it? No one really wants to admit that people in certain ethnic groups really do really all look the same.... Asians, blacks, whites, and any other ethnic group we ourselves are not a part of. All groups have certain distinguishing characteristics that make them what they are, unique and apart from others- heaven forbid that we see or mention them.
Yes, We can all look the same to outsiders that at first do not see the slight -as well as exaggerated- variations each group can have. The richness and fullness that make up the peoples of the earth never cease to amaze me. We are all different, yet the same, and we are all beautiful.
Woman Throws Friendly Neighborhood Cat In Trash, Becomes Internet Villain {Pawnation OLD}
Aug 27th 2010 11:30PM @ Don and Penelope (And anyone else after them, with their mentality)
Please... stop your ignorance. Psychologically, The way people treat animals when they think no one is looking is a good indication of what type of person they are, at their inner, utmost core. So, on a moral, ethical scale, the question then becomes, if they treat "just" a cat this way, what else would they do when they thought no one was looking, and would what they do stop at "Just" animals.
As a teen she could have been one of those "poor teen mothers" that stuffed their children into suitcases and put them in the attic- we will never know, so yes, people NEED to overreact and "Blow this out of proportion", even over "just" a cat.
Pet On The Street - Where Does Your Dog Sleep? {Pawnation OLD}
Aug 21st 2010 9:55PM My two poms both sleep on the bed, though the smaller of the two has his own bed ON the bed, and sleeps in it. The larger/older pom sleeps as close to me as he can. I have a king bed, and we end up crowded together in one little spot. lol
I wouldn't have it any other way though!
Dear NY Times, Here's Why I Haven't 'Grown Up.' Love, a 20-Something {Lemondrop}
Aug 19th 2010 8:35PM I can't believe people fall for this "I gotta find myself..." crap. If you don't know who you are by age 27 (Almost 30 for God's sake ) you're a lost cause and might as well forget about ever contributing to society in a meaningful way.
We're all "Special", but newsflash.... it's called Life... You act like an adult because you are... grow up, get a job, and quit finding ways to make your excuses sound mature and acceptable. They aren't.
This is just another fine example of that sense of self entitlement and that "I'm Special"ness parents seem to be instilling in their children over the last decade or two, and then when their kids are still laying around on their couches and going from job to job they complain.

Dr. Laura Creates Controversy {AOL Hot Searches}
Aug 13th 2010 4:59PM As bitter as she seems it's no wonder her face reflects it. A person's true self often comes out in their appearance, and in her case her howler monkey face and tightly-tendoned neck and wattle speaks volumes.
