Jan 13th 2013 12:26AM My brother couldn't get anybody to look at his house at $380,000. He was offering a credit for paint and carpet and he used the son of a friend as his realtor.

I went to visit and gave him a list of questions to ask prospective realtors. And he couldn't use anybody that he knew or that knew anybody that he knew.

He painted and put in neutral carpet.

After being satisfied that his search for an agent put him onto the right guy, he signed a listing agreement. The house sold for the asking price of $400,000 with a 30 day close within 48 hours.

The right agent is the secret to your success. Questions: 1) Do you sell most of your own listings or do you just list and allow others to sell for you? 2) Show me homes that you have listed AND sold. With their asking price and final price. 3) How will you advertise my home? 4) Are you a real estate agent or are you also a licensed broker?

Either way I would never live in a house or condo that had a HOA.

Feb 26th 2012 1:45AM In response to the question about repairing machines. Every property has their own in-house slot technicians to repair their games.

And no, they will not and cannot set them up to pay for the locals during the week and not pay for the tourists on the week-end.

Machine payouts can be changed but it is a lengthy process to go through each machine to do so. And if you don't keep track of your machine par's and present them when the GCB asks you are looking at some heavy duty fines and, as usual, the threat of being closed down.

Just isn't worth it to cheat the guests. Come hell or high water the casino is going to make its share of your gaming dollars.

Jul 6th 2011 8:12AM For everybody that is upset over the verdict in the Casey Anthony trial, keep in mind that the jury can only judge on what they are allowed to see and hear.

Somewhere down the road, if you are charged with a capital crime, you'll be very happy that the prosecutor in your case has to prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that you actually did it.

The prosecutor can't try you in the press and they can't get away with made up charges to further their own agenda. They actually have to prove that you did the crime.

It is too bad that things have worked out the way that they have. Would love to see her and Prince Andrew back together. They both have so very much to live for.
