Both the school superintendent of Memphis City Schools, Kriner Cash, and the mayor, A.C. Wharton, have gone on national tv to try to counteract these falsehoods, yet people like you keep spreading them. Some bimbo on the Today show even said that the problem was that Shelby County had no ob/gyns. Folks, there are 113 licensed ob/gyns in Shelby County... and there are only 30 pregnant girls in Frayser High School, and the only reason there are THAT many is that there is a program for pregnant teens there which many pregnant girls at other schools transfer into.
OH MY GOSH THIS THING THAT NEVER HAPPENED IS SO TERRIBLE! THE WORLD IS COMING TO AN END BECAUSE SOMEONE MADE UP AN ARTICLE!

There are not 90 pregnant girls at Frayser high school. These numbers have been rebutted by the high school and by the local news in Memphis, where Frayser High School is located. Mary Kate Baumann should be ashamed of herself, and parentdish.com should be ashamed too, for repeating lies.

May 17th 2010 3:55PM It's a little scary to me how many of you mouth breathers think humiliating yourself because someone else tells you to makes you stronger. The whole world is a bad place because of you people, seriously. You start early to train kids to put up with being treated badly by teachers and coaches, and then go on to accept being treated badly by bosses and policemen. The truth is, no one at any time should drink out of a shoe. It's nasty and it's stupid and it doesn't "make a team stronger," it just proves that the team has no one on it capable of thinking.

May 13th 2010 7:45PM Cherry, one out of four little girls will be sexually molested by an adult before the age of 18. There are some peak ages at which children are molested - the most common age for prepubescent girls to be molested is... 7 years old. Just because you are normal and don't see anything sexual about a young girl's body doesn't mean others don't. There are pedophiles who literally molest infants.
These girls are too young to understand what they are doing. They are innocents. They need grown ups to protect them, not encourage them. If your child thinks it's fun to do something you know is dangerous, it's up to you to step in.
For the "dance grandma" - you are part of the problem! Please, why can't the kids use their incredible talents to do a dance that doesn't make most of the people watching it want to stop the show and throw a coat over the poor kids? Wouldn't it be better for them to do something that doesn't make the decent people viewing feel sorry and embarrassed for them not having parents who care enough to protect them? If "all the dance moves" in children's contests are like this, there's something seriously wrong with your contests.

One of the little girls is a dead ringer for my best friend when I was seven, and the thought of my friend up there, innocently dancing and not understanding the context of her behavior, while the adults who should have protected her sit in the audience and watch, makes me very upset. These girls are adorable and they literally don't know what the moves they are doing mean to an adult. But the viewers know. The parents of the children and the organization hosting the event should have done a better job caring for these children. How any of these parents could sleep at night knowing hundreds of pedophiles across the world are downloading this video of their children right now just amazes me.

May 4th 2010 9:39AM My father-in-law used to be manager of a factory that makes the frozen food in a baggie served at Olive Garden. It is NOT FRESH, it is loaded with sodium and fat, and you should not be eating there more than occasionally if you care about your health. It's so easy to throw a few things in a skillet and make Italian food ten thousand times better tasting than anything served at Olive Garden. Really! Look up some recipes and try it.
