Nov 4th 2010 4:37PM I grew up in Cincy, born in the 60's and the biggest fan of the Big Red Machine, in the 70's when I was a child ...Those guys were true ball players and had a great manager....I went to games, watched them on TV and listened on the radio late on school nights .... I loved waiting for the aftergame radio segment called "The Main Spark" .... I never met Sparky, though I knew in my heart he was a kind man ... He truely was a part of my childhood along with the rest of the Big Red Machine ... The best MLB coach ever .. Deepest sympathy to your family .... Kim from Cincy

THAT IS WHY IT IS CALLED A UNIFORM ...I BELEIVE THE BIG 3 SHOULD GET THEIR F/A'S LOOKING MORE UNIFORM AGAIN, AS FAR AS SHOES-HAIR-MAKEUP-LUGGAGE ARE CONCERNED .. NOT WEIGHT AS THERE ARE TOO MANY FACTORS THAT AFFECT PEOPLE'S WEIGHT .. MEDS ETC ... KUDOS TO INDIGO !!!

Unfortanetly, Jimmy Fallon has not won my heart ...he needs to back to SNL ..... He's kinda clueless about late night talk !!

They are well off and don't have to work .. but they want to be #1 in seniority ... you happened to work for an airline that treated you right and had enough sense to make a buyout desirable ... United does not even know what is going on with their F/A workforce ... United is very very seniority obsessed ... they will tell you that they will die on the plane before they retire .. they are nasty to there fellow junior f/a's and to the flight deck .. they've gotta go ... just like Glenn ..... enuf said ....... unless you have flown for United you aren't aware of that F/A group ...... Be glad you could retire at 42 .. times are different now !!!!!!

DELTA GOT RID OF APPROX 3,000 OLD TIMERS IN AN INSTANT BY OFFERING A DECENT BUYOUT .. IN FACT THEY HAD TO TURN PEOPLE DOWN THAT WANTED AN EARLY OUT .. SO LEAVE OBAMA OUT OF THIS ONE .. THX :)
