Feb 19th 2008 10:28AM She is absolutly correct. Electric car cost more energy to produce than gasoline powered cars. Plus the disposal of tons of acid filled batteries will cause unprecedented landfill pollution.
Fossil fuels are organic. They are made from plants, just like ethanol. Fossil fuel emissions are the same as from a volcanic eruption except MUCH cleaner.
Fuel is organic. Batteries are man-made.
