American Airlines finds another fee: for front-row seats {WalletPop}
Aug 18th 2010 7:48PM bulkhead seating should be still blocked off until reaching the gate due to there are passengers that need to have those seats. Can just imagine a family of 4 paying for those seats and then having to move to accomodate persons with disabilities....might get rather hairy flying on American.....that is pretty bad, however, I have seen folks that want to sit in exit rows walking with canes, wanting to be taken down in wheelchairs all due to wanting to get on the plane first. Maybe if those people had to pay it might make them think twice
An Angry Kid Throws Food in Jillian Michaels' Face (VIDEO) {AOL TV}
Jul 7th 2010 12:26PM She could have done this a different way. She could have observed them while they ate and then after the feast she could have sat down with the elders and given them the ideas of how to correct this. Then she could have worked with them. You can still teach people how to eat different without the insults like she did. But if my son did that to anyone I would have been very upset and pulled him away and had a talk with him on how to treat people that are ignorant of cultures. She can still help them but she can help them by not being so holier than thou attitude.

Does Your Hairstylist Love You or Hate You? {Stylelist (Main)}
Jun 1st 2010 6:20PM I went to a shop once, only once. I wanted to have the grey taken out and to get the red out of my hair. I know how to get the red out and I told her she was going to have to use a color like a ash blonde to get the red out. Well, she tried showing me a color that was a grey, the other stylist came over and told her that no I came in to get the grey and red out and that yes she needed to use a ash color to decrease it. Well the stylist went to the back mixed the color, put it sloppy on my hair, pulled my hair while doing it, did not even think to get the color off my face that she was slathering on and then came back to me rinsed my hair and said oh well maybe it will look better after the blow drying. I could not sit thru the entire blow drying of my hair, I was so pissed off that I got up, told her that she was stupid and that I had told her how my hair was going to be if she did not do what I said. even the other stylist told her that the hair looked the same as when i came in. Nope i did not pay for it, i went out and it has been a year and still would never set foot in that salon again. I say if a person comes in for a hair style, cut whatever, they pay for it they DESERVE WHAT THEY WANT!! Not what the stylist wants....just my thought...
Mutts Mingling With Pure Breeds at AKC Competitions {Pawnation OLD}
May 25th 2010 9:35AM What happened to the Mixed Breed Dog Club of America? I used to live in California, had a mixed breed Rott and got her CD and she was registered in the club. There were events all the time along with the AKC events. So far no one has mentioned the club, does it exist anywhere besides Cali? I think so. The dog training club that I belonged to always was kept up to date of the shows they also had conformation, utility, and even more.

What Your Vet Thinks About Your Pet's Name - And About You {Pawnation OLD}
May 18th 2010 11:53AM I think it is fun to read all the names that all of us have given our animals. Who says you have to be creative and well when they say dont name it Lucky, well that is the name of one of my cats due to the fact he was feral I tamed him and named him Lucky cuz I thought he was lucky to be alive and now he is the fattest indoor cat around. Another feral cat of mine is Patches cuz he is black and white. My rotts name was Iniki cuz she was born on the day Hurricane Iniki hit Hawaii. My daughter named my latest rott Katy Scarlett cuz we live in Ga. But I took it over and call her Katy Lou. Ah, I say lets all just keep having fun naming our animals our own way!
Once a free perk, many airlines now charge for advanced seat selection {Gadling}
Mar 29th 2010 7:36PM These comments are confusing......The major airlines (Delta, American) reserve the bulkhead seats for those with disabilities or families traveling together and they are released up at the gates after the agent has reviewed the passenger lists (seeing who may need wheelchair assistance families that are unseated etc). The exit rows are blocked until you arrive at the airport so that the agent can see whether you have the qualifications of sitting in a exit row. And there are seats that are still blocked off due to thru flights etc. When they are not used the gates release those seats. You always have the option of going up to the gate agent and asking for a better seat aisle vs middle etc. Sometimes people complain without really knowing what goes on in the background of a business or the reasons that things are the way they are. Maybe instead of automatically complaining of something think things over, ask questions and do your research. It is amazing what we can find out that way.
Galley Gossip: 3 reasons flight attendants won't allow passengers to switch seats in flight {Gadling}
Mar 21st 2010 11:48PM jaxson, the weight of people is calculated in a certain weight for adults and a certain weight for children. The flight attendant counts how many adults, children, infants on the regional jets. Bags up to 50 pounds are calculated one weight over 50 calculated in another set weight. This is for weight and balance issues with loading the cargo bins with your baggage. You would not want a plane dragging its butt on the runway trying to take off with to much weight in the back now would you??? Before you go spouting your mouth about a subject, research it and find out the facts......Oh and by the way it is no longer "stewardess" it is now flight attendant. Again get facts before spouting your mouth......
