Aug 9th 2009 5:25PM I worked at a restaurant when I younger as a waitress. It was a family owned business and my boss was pretty unorganized. She would constantly forget to schedule people and we would end up swamped. One afternoon I came in and she told me she was going to go home and take a nap, and left. I was the only worker, besides the cooks, in the whole place. I had to take orders, serve food, clean tables, work the cash register, answer phones, and even deal with take out orders. I kept calling my boss to try to get help, but she didn't answer. It was horrible!
