Nov 16th 2010 9:18AM I have also been on a few flights where there were screaming or misbehaving children. Sometimes the cabin pressure is too much for little ears and I do feel bad for these little ones. But, the parents of children who are allowed to scream for no reason (no toys, nothing to do, etc.), running up and down aisles, kicking seats, should be told that if this behavior does not stop that they will be forced to exit the plane at the next airport and/or not be able to fly for the next 2 years. Parents need to start taking responsibility for their lack of proper parenting. And to the author; why should the other passengers have to control the noise pollution? Even though I never travel without them, let the parents bring enough ear plugs for the whole plane.

Oct 21st 2010 12:23PM This is NOT a ridiculous request. In some stores the policy of asking for ID is posted. Let this man have his card stolen and used just once then lets see who's he's going to be complaining to. Most cashiers today do not pay attention to who is handing them a card or do they bother to look at the signature. The must have been an obvious reason why this cashier asked for proper ID.
