The ten best castles in Europe {Gadling}

Mar 18th 2011 10:59AM Agree that other castles should have been on the list. Where's the Alcazar in Segovia, Spain?

Meyer's Bully Act Embarrasses Florida {Fanhouse - Kevin Blackistone}

Mar 26th 2010 4:47PM Meyer 1 - Blackstone 0

No contest. The reporter didn't try to get to the bottom of Thompson's statement. Didn't follow up...Didn't clarify. You all those things a responsible journalist would do. I can see him "Oh Boying" himself because he thought he had a cool quote to hammer Tebow over...jump on the 'not NFL caliber' bandwagon. Meyer rightly called him on it...too bad there were TV cameras there...but again not Meyer's fault.

Florida's Meyer Rips Reporter in Defense of Player {Fanhouse NCAA Football Blog}

Mar 25th 2010 9:17PM The reporter may have reported accurately...but it was also up to the reporter to explain the intination that couldn't be heard or ask a follow-up question to give Deonte a chance to put the line in context . The reporter didn't do that so at best he's a lousy reporter. At worst, and more likely, he was digging for controversy, has it in for Meyer or both. I think Meyer was right to question the reporter's professionalism and when the reporter waffled, Meyer knew all he needed to know and rightly called the reporter on his motivation.

Was the Fix in on Wozniacki's 'Injury'? {Fanhouse Tennis}

Oct 23rd 2009 8:08PM He's making a mountain out of a molehill. How gets from questionable judgement to outright fix is plain paranoia. Give it up...it must have a slow tennis week.

John 3:16 -- Latest Bible Verse to Be Featured On Tim Tebow's Eye Black {Fanhouse NCAA Football Blog}

Jan 10th 2009 12:18AM It was perfect Tebow. He let's his actions speak for his faith. He never said one word about it, did he? He just knew the camera was going to be on him all night and every time it was, somebody was going to get that message. No big deal...no atmospherics...just a simple statement from a simple guy.

Hot Seat: GOP Future {Politics Daily}

Nov 12th 2008 11:32PM >>>Oh Please, Lori---the Democratic Party left this nation 3 TRILLION in surplus; you "can't get enough of this party" Republicorporations left us 10.5 TRILLION in debt. How many more "pieces" did you all intend to "pick up" before the rest of us said "enough"?

Hot Seat: GOP Future {Politics Daily}

Nov 12th 2008 11:27PM The Republicans shoould move neither right nor towards the center. They should move back to the basics of conservatism. The time is right and the message is clear. The Democrats, by winning two branches of the government, have sown the seeds of their own destruction. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. The pendulum has swung as far as it can and can now only swing back. The Republicans should be there to meet it when it comes back as it inevitably will. Once President Obama institutes his massive wealth redistribution plans, the economy will really tank because socialism has never worked, does not work and will never work. The economic driver of any economy is the will to be successful and elevate your options through wealthbuilding. Socialism has always killed incentive, kills incentive and will always kill incentive. Contrary to prevailing opinion, Equality is not an inalienable right. Liberty is an inalienable right. President Obama stands for equality of outcome and is against Liberty because Liberty presupposes that different economic outcomes are a given. Individuals defining their own worth is at the core of liberty. The Republicans should start today hammering that message home. The Georgia Senatorial run-off is the first battle of the 2012 election. The message needs to start now.

Joe Knows Taxes {Politics Daily}

Oct 17th 2008 1:11PM Garret: look at the tax codes. The top 20% or earners in this country ALREADY pay more for the better seats at the show. The top 20% of earners in America ALREADY pay roughly 70% of all income taxes. The top 40% pay roughly 90% of the income taxes. The bottom 40%--roughly half of Sen Obama's 95% ALREADY pay 0% of the income taxes...none! The top 40% aren't whining about being punished...they pay more than their share and they're not whining. They're mad because the democratic party's outlook is fundamentally WRONG!! The Republican party wants more people up top and believes the best way is to let people keep the money they earn and multiply it the way they know best.

The Democrats have created the banking mess by design. The subprime mess started because the Democrats wanted banks to loan money to people who had less that optimistic abilities to repay the loans. Now that those chickens have come home to roost, the Democrats want you and me to buy these people's house for them by cancelling their mortgage debt. If that plan passes then it will be the biggest theft of taxpaying people's money for of wealth redistribution this country has ever seen. It is shameful. Wake up America! If you want your liberty back you must vote for Sen McCain. Poer corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Absolute power is what you hand the Democrats if the run the House, the Senate and the White House. The corruption has already started because of Democratic power in Congress. Fannie Mae was run by democrats and corrupted Democratic Congressmen into protecting Fannie Mae 'book cookers' from regulators. Why because democrats 'wanted' this wealth distribution plan. They wanted the banks to make bad loans...they forced them to make the bad loans. It didn't help that certain banks, Lehmen, WaMu, Wachovia, etc., gobbled up the loans like Kobiyashi at Coney Island, but the banks knew that Fannie Mae would make good on the loans because corrupt Democrats would stave off the regulators. When Fannie Mae failed the game changed. Wake up America!

Oct 17th 2008 1:10PM >>>I've never viewed being taxed as being 'punished' for being productive...any adult person who loves civilization realizes that paying taxes is the price for the admission to the show, and if you have a better seat it SHOULD cost you more.
