China's Empty Cities: These Satellite Images Will Shock You {AOL Real Estate}
Mar 6th 2013 1:37PM Meanwhile, we have people living on the streets, cardboard boxes, and sewers to merely survive. This is the craziest situation ever seen. Why don't they simply allow these empty homes to be occupied? Are there power plants and utility provisions being built also? If there is no electricity or water supp;ly, then it's just a big pile of Leggo bricks for nothing.
A Gallery Of Roller Coaster Camera Trolls {Gadling}
Sep 29th 2012 10:54AM Wow! That Millennium Force makes Coney Island Rabbitt look a like kiddy ride.
Gary Harrington of Oregon Jailed for Illegal Rainwater Reservoirs on His Property {AOL Real Estate}
Aug 13th 2012 10:34PM Perhaps in a communist country, everything should be owned by the public, and distributed by a selfish greedy government. Whatever falls on anyone's individual owned property should belong to that person only. Ration air next!
What Goes On At Sea World At Night? {Gadling}
Jun 13th 2012 11:36AM Sea World is a wonderful place to visit and see up close the many denizen creatures that inhabit our planet. Howsomever concernment over their so-called imprisonment, we are aware of how well they are cared for and displayed for our appreciative study. No other way could we ever care to meet up with a shark or killer whale. Anyone that professes they should be set free would have to consider all the pets that people keep in their homes and are part of the family.
War Vet Accuses Pacifist Landlady of Discrimination {AOL Real Estate}
Jun 5th 2012 6:56PM Excellent point! Vets fought for freedom to even the crackpots. This is not a new phenomenon, however, as similar narrow-mindedness seems to occur after every war. Korea, vets were spat upon, Vietnam, vets were all designated drug addicts, and even back in WWII my mother retired early from being a Real Estate Broker because it broke her heart to see the vets being stuck with 30 year mortgages, which were unknown prior to 1945. Pacifists are all hypocrites!
A Journey To The Hottest Place On Earth: Dallol Ethiopia {Gadling}
Jun 1st 2012 5:11AM No big deal about the location if one has ever visited Palm Springs, California in mid-July. Also below sea level, the average temperature there is around 120 in the shade. The story, though, is very interesting and well written. Certainly not an enticement to visit there, unless one is a masochist. No brochure required!
Sexy New 'iPod of Thermostats' Is Geeky on the Inside {AOL Real Estate}
Dec 28th 2011 11:26AM Yep, invent a better paper clip, and your fortune is made!
Preserved human flesh at Amsterdam's Tattoo Museum {Gadling}
Nov 16th 2011 1:31PM I wonder what happened to the lampshade collection that the crazy nazi, Ilsa Koch, had accumulated and preserved from being sliced off jewish concentration camp bodies during WWII? Morbid collectors would pay a fortune for them today.
Lady Gaga Sued for Scamming Japan Earthquake Charity {PopEater}
Jun 28th 2011 2:54AM Well, I imagine she WAS going to give all the money to the Japan earthquake thing, but then she remembered reading about that Dec. 7th 1941 Pearl Harbor sneak attack, and said: "Aw, to hell with them!" LOL
Oprah's Dream Interview: A Confessing O.J. Simpson {PopEater}
Jun 17th 2011 8:27AM Why are we even bothering to read this crap? OW & OJ are old news, and she is desperately grasping at straws to remain in the headlines. Goodbye Fatso, good riddance!
