AT&T works on travel transparency {Gadling}
Jun 13th 2009 12:45AM I have family all over the world and I've been using the AT&T plan for a few years now. It's certainly made it easy for me to stay in touch with family - whether at home or abroad. I use the WorldTraveler Plan and and WorldConnect so I can use my cell phone outside the US and call family members from that cell phone while at home and not lose my shirt for the privilege :)

Ten things you didn't know about Dublin {Gadling}
Nov 12th 2008 6:46PM Good list!
Suggestion: live like a local and do a pub crawl in downtown Dublin. It doesn't take much effort and can help with keeping upright.
Also, take the bus in from the airport. The stretch of road from the airport to downtown has some of the worst traffic in the city. Buses run regularly from just outside arrivals.
For things to do with children (and even an accommodation suggestion), try this.
The best phone for international travel? {Gadling}
Oct 15th 2008 5:20PM This recommendation is pretty focused on data plans.
If you want to just make calls, I use an AT&T phone on which I add the option intl roaming service when I'm going out of town. For $5/month extra while I'm paying for this optional extra, I get low, low per-minute rates for calling my peeps back in the US and elsewhere. Then I remove the intl roaming service when I get back home.
Just a thought.
