Flight Attendant Confesses Ups And Downs Of Job {Gadling}
Dec 4th 2012 6:14PM This young gal is so full of bull it's not funny. As tempting as one might think it is to 'hook up' it NEVER happens!!! That is an old myth,period. First of all, if she works for a US carrier, she would lose her job. Secondly, if she were even to suggest it, she would be hauled into the office, and her job would be threatened. She would be suspended without pay, pending a thorough investigation.
Flight priveleges hardly exist anymore. Most FA's commute to their base because it is very expensive to live in the cities where they are domiciled. With frequent flyer miles, seldom can an employee ride for free. In fact, occasionally I had to purchase tickets on other carriers to get to work.
Finally, the American flying public is ruder than any international passenger.
This article is insulting to the hard working men and women of the FA profession. NO mention of administering First Aid, or going above and beyond the call of duty to help a person in need.
Patrick Swayze Loses His Battle With Cancer at 57 {PopEater}
Sep 14th 2009 9:45PM Though I did not know the man, I am so sad to hear of this loss. His performances in "Ghost" and "To Wong Foo..." touched my life. May God bless him and his family.
First graders go on field trip to teacher's same sex wedding {ParentDish}
Oct 15th 2008 8:17AM I don't think children should attend weddings, period. They are too young, they don't really understand what is going on, and they get in the way at the reception. As a ringbearer at six years old, my perceptions were so way off, because I didn't know what was going on; from my perspective I actually thought the bride carried not a bouquet down the aisle, but a BABY!
