Nov 3rd 2011 12:07PM I feel bad for the homeless but this makes no sence to me. Her they are kicking someone out of their home (thereby making them homeless) and putting someone else in that home.
Oct 25th 2011 7:42PM Yes, you could have Mark. I can remember a Western Airlines 727 landing in Seattle years ago with out the nose gear, total damage to the plane was 50.00 worth of paint! What a great crew we had, the 727 was the most swept wing aircraft with all the engines on the tails as you know. The pilots transfered the remaining fuel to the outer tanks on the wings and transfered as much weight as they could to the back. The plane was at a complete stop when they set the nose down.
Mar 16th 2011 2:12PM I commend our lawmakers who are asking for more details on the radiation that comes from these machines. In addition to this radiation passengers and crews are exposed to radiation simply by flying. The radiation exposer adds up in your system. I flew as a stewardess/flight attendant for over 33 years. You would not believe the number of flight crew members I know of who have either died of cancer or are fighting it. When I started flying 31,000 feet was a comon altitude for jets now they are flying at over 40,000 levels even on short hauls. The higher you go the more radiation exposure. When you combine these two factors, that's a lot of exposure.
Jan 18th 2011 1:00PM Please Google Life-Style lifts and look at the different web sites. I did and I found a lot of people unhappy with this procedure.
Dec 22nd 2010 1:13PM I was a stewardess/flight attendant for 33 years and very happily married to a pilot. Sadly he was killed in an auto accident. I'd give anything to steal a kilss from him in the cockpit! There is more to this story than is told. While sexual harassment is wrong we don't know if she was out to get him in trouble. Firing him is overboard unless there have been other complaints.
Dec 9th 2010 10:02AM I grew up in Alaska, one of six children. Wild game and fish was our only source of meat. We needed it to survive. Even animals killed on the highways by vehicles were butchered and fed families. I am sure this caribou will be on someone's dinner plate.
Jul 2nd 2010 3:47PM Our unemployment systmen is so flawed with how claims are handled. I have a 43 year old neice in Las Vegas who has worked as a waitress her whole life, has drawn unemployment whenever able during that time and for the last three years received 304.00 a week. She is addicted to any kind of drug she can get her hands on, has many outstanding warrents and has even spent time in jail, yet she continues to receive the money. On the otherhand I have a brother who owns his owm dump truck and trailer and up until the recession had work. He hasn't been able to get work and because he is a sole propriotorship can't get any help. This to me is just wrong!
Jun 23rd 2010 3:36PM Southwest's quote was for a one-way ticket, you're pricing a roundtrip
May 20th 2009 2:19PM I love my Hp computer and printer! Costco adds another year to your warrenty. I called once through there service and was referred to HP. I talked to someone in the US and problem was solved immediately.
Oct 14th 2008 12:59AM And where does Congress fit in to this mess, I feel they have some responsibility here. A President doesn't do all this by himself.
