Wilbon Reportedly Suffers Heart Attack {Fanhouse NBA Blog}
Jan 30th 2008 9:48AM Mike Wilbon is one of the few "journalists" that I respect these daze. That doesn't mean I agree with everything that he says but after all, aren't we all supposed to have our own opinions? Speedy recovery Mike...especially since Dan (Lebetard (sp)) is on again-- sheesh!
Interviewer Wishes Seton Hall Coach 'Continued Good Sex in the Big East' {Fanhouse NCAA Basketball Blog}
Jan 25th 2008 7:35PM Is it me or is the media so starved for "entertaining" news that they come up with this sh*t? C'mon, there is so much going on in the country/world - positive and unfortunately negative, too - that this garbage should really be left alone. Sheesh...

Serena Williams to Pose Nude {Fanhouse Backporch}
Jul 23rd 2007 11:11AM White boys/men, in general, are the funniest creatures on the planet. Some of your comments embarass (sp) even me. Personally, she's beautiful-intelligent-and strong, so if you're jealous of that, the best thing to do would be to keep your comments to yourself-- it exposes your insecurities, and insecurity is weak. Keep doin' your thing Serena and to everyone else, just Be 'yo Self...
Baltimore Ravens' Steve McNair Arrested for DUI {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
May 10th 2007 11:00AM Derrick, as one Black man to another (assuming you are Black/African-American), can We PLEASE stop labeling every act of perceived injustice as Racism?! We do ourselves a disservice by doing so because even though this country has a long history of racism that still exists, often covertly - but overtly as well, everything is not about race (most is about capital/class) and there will soon become a time when the proverbial race card will be considered void. Back to this law, it's touchy but ignorance of the law is not an excuse-- that's why it's not taught to us in school...that would be too much like right. A Black's Law Dictionary is a wise investment - I've got one and keep it around. McNair is a stand-up guy but he should have just called a cab or another friend or relative to pick them up. Sports (and society, for that matter) has a funny way of inflicting too many players with delusions of grandeur making them take on that "oh, it won't happen to me, do they know who I am?" mentality. It'll be interesting to see how Goddell rules on this one...he's facing a Hobson's Choice for sure.
Your Hotel Room Isn't the Only Thing That's Filthy {Gadling}
Mar 24th 2007 10:42PM Not that I'm bias or racist - I'm Black, so I don't have the power to be a racist - but I honestly noticed that white men (black women tell me it crosses gender lines as well) usually do not wash their hands after urinating. And even more alarming is that in way too many instances I've observed white men not wash their hands even after taking a poop. I mean, damn, when you wipe your butt and in you're in a restaurant or place of business wouldn't want to make sure you weren't walking around with a hand that smells like sh*t? One would think so but go figure. When I have seen white men wash their hands after urination/defecation only a small percentage used soap...it was more like a quick rinse of cold water. LOL...like that's really gonna kill a germ.
To be fair, I've seen black men and other men of color do this too - never observed one not wash their hands after doing #2, that's just me - but the numbers have been substantially lower. Again, I'm not trying to be negative toward my caucasian bretheren/sisters but this is just an observation I've gathered over more than 20 years of going to school, work and being in other public places with different people. Just curious: Is that a cultural difference?
Trump Thumps Bush {AOL Video Blog}
Mar 21st 2007 2:18PM Damn. It amazes me that people couldn't see through this azzhole back in 2000 when he literally stole the bloody election (read: Electronic Voting by Diebold). People in this country have literally been lulled to sleep by all sorts of things fabricated and manufactured to divert attention from the real issues. In my humble opinion, it's too much bullsh*t to choose from unlike before, when we were less technically advanced and were forced to strengthen our minds and intellect. And no, I'm not for outhouses and I'm thankful for cell phones. But soon they (I'm already up, bright-eyed and bushy tailed...damn, definitely no pun intended) will experience the rudest awakening that may very well put most of us to sleep for good.
I'm in no way putting others down - we're ALL One - but I just wanna say something to the American people that makes us, as a collective, use our brains more and rely on others to do our thinking for us less, if not at all. Question: Have you ever wondered what the hell NASA does? Have we ever gotten any practical, factual reports as to what they're doing? Isn't it funny that everyday people (millionaires, billionaires) are now taking trips to the moon? Have you ever wondered how an Austrian-turned-American movie star who has an affinity with Hitler can become the governor of California? Beware, and I'm no conspiracy theorist - just 'in-the-know' - of Schwarzenegger for President in '08. The sh*t is about to hit the fan. Take cover because when it does, those in the vacinity will be sh*tted on. Sorry for the long post!
USC Star Recruit O.J. Mayo Busted for Marijuana {Fanhouse NCAA Basketball Blog}
Mar 10th 2007 5:51PM The same people that sit on these message boards and sites and cast judgement are usually some of the most dysfunctional criminals out here. Arressted for pot, smoke, herb, marijuana? This country is such a sickening joke at times that "the hoax" should be so much more visible to the seeing eye by now. If the quo wants to criminalize something(s) why not start with some of the most lethal, the prescription drugs that kill way too many innocent people yearly. My mother is a legalized junkie and let met tell you, the sh*t is just plain sad. OJ, I don't know you so who am I to cast rocks, but keep your head up and your nose clean and you'll do just fine. Pot is not the problem, those ones who smoke it then turn around and lock you up are.
Can John Edwards Bring Sexy Back to Politics? {AOL Video Blog}
Feb 22nd 2007 8:13PM American people have got to be the dumbest people on earth...and I say that as a wake-up call not to down anyone - believe me. I don't give an armadillo's ass what the president looks like, give me honesty (which is like oil in political water as we've observed over many years), intelligence (George, that's i-n-t-e-l-l-i-g-e-n-c-e and the definition in the dictionary is not "that war stuff"), empathy (does anybody have a heart anymore - let alone a pulse?), balanced diplomacy (sooner or later kicking everybody's ass comes back to bite you in yours) and a flexible, practical, constitutionally-based plan to improve healthcare, education, the environment, the econonomy and a military that works not hurts its troops - just to name a few. Find me a man or woman like this, in Amerika, and unfortunately, we'll probably find them with a hole in their head. Some things are deadly wrong with our country, a beautiful country blessed with so much but blessing its citizens and the land so little.
Tomlinson: 'I Have a Lot of Respect for Bill Belichick' {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Feb 3rd 2007 11:53AM People with open eyes and hears (that work) will automatically know that was a PR move done by LaDanian and rightly so. If you've got to work with a person, you may as well make it amicable. Belichik hasn't grown any more "class" in the past two weeks than he didn't have to begin with. A so-called great mind doesn't equate the same character. I like certain players on the Pats but f*ck Belichik - he's ignorant to moral principle(s), to me. Have a nice day.
