The Diet That Saved My Life {MyDaily}

Jan 12th 2011 11:17AM I have fibromyalgia and i have tried many ways to just feel better without medication and most have failed. I came across a recipe on one of the FMS / CFS support websites and looked up the book it was from. It is called Eat Right 4/for Your Blood Type.
I asked my doctor about the plan and he said he had others who used it to lose weight and had positive results. It didn't cost me anything, nothing to join and it couldn't hurt to try.
So I ordered the book from paperback swap. I have lost 40# and feel so much better.
I haven't needed my cane or a motorized cart to make it through grocery shopping at wal mart.
My arthritis swelling is way down, my joints feel so much better and I rarely need to take any ibuprofen or aleve anymore. The healthy diet I was eating was causing me to gain weight and endure painful swelling that debilitated me.
My quality of life has improved so much that I have taken up horseback riding again.
I have recommended this book, the supplement books and the website to my mother and sisters, and they have all reduced their weight and blood pressure as well learned what food sensitivities trigger their headaches.
My mother has her diabetes under control, does not need any diabetes medication and is thriving at 72 years old despite a blood disorder 'hemochromatosis'.
It may not be for everyone, but at least you could ask your doctor if it might help.
I wish I had found it sooner. Maybe it will work for you!

Pet On The Street - How Did You Find Your Dog? {Pawnation OLD}

Feb 11th 2010 8:21AM It always breaks my heart when I hear people talk about breeding or buying dogs. If you could just spend a day in a pound on euthanasia day, it would change your life forever.
Millions of dogs and cats are euthanized each year due to pet overpopulation.
PLEASE be a responsible pet owner. Spay and neuter your pets.
*I have 5 dogs and 3 cats. All are someone elses discards. All are spayed and or neutered, vetted, taxed and utd on shots and flea control. Rescued mutts rule!

Galley Gossip: 5 ways flight attendants handle difficult passengers {Gadling}

Jan 31st 2010 3:13PM I've only flown 4 seperate times in my life. NWA. The first time was very good. The next 3 were mediocre at best. The main issues were the flight attendants. They all seemed indifferent, or acted like they didn't want to be there in the first place. Still beats Amtrack any day!

Frying the Family Bird - A Recipe for Potential Disaster {Holidash News}

Nov 24th 2008 8:47AM READ THE INSTRUCTIONS and NEVER NEVER NEVER skimp on the proper cooking oil!
Thaw the bird completely, always pat it dry. MEASURE TWICE, fry once. You can put the frozen turkey in the pot then measure how many gallons of oil you will need by using water instead. Deep fried turkey has been in restaurants for years, and something different from the boring dry bird we usually get. It's still the traditional turkey, but crispier and juicier! Read the instructuions, watch the video, but stop assuming it's the "rural" people who are the ones making the disastrous mistakes! There's a huge difference between ignorant rednecks and rural / country folks!
FRY ON!

Surprising dogs breeds to be wary of {ParentDish}

Jul 9th 2008 10:10AM The point is that larger dogs have the same potential to bite as smaller dogs, however, the larger dogs have a more severe bite because they are bigger.
If you need to dissect the data further, you can always compare the psi of each breeds bite compared to the end result. Let's be reasonable people.

Surprising dogs breeds to be wary of {ParentDish}

Jul 9th 2008 10:04AM All my dogs were gentle creatures until the neighbor kids tormented them incessantly. Now they are scared to death and defensive! The brats parents are ignorant and let them run wild without supervision. People do not respect animals for what they are and what they will become if treated improperly.

Fox: No Political Ads During Super Bowl {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Jan 28th 2008 1:40PM It's too bad that most of the greater majority of the media is liberal. What's wrong with FOX having a little leverage on the right side? No matter what side you are on, it's the lesser of the two necessary evils that get voted in. So, put on your big boy/girl panties and suck it up!

Fox: No Political Ads During Super Bowl {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Jan 28th 2008 1:36PM THANK YOU! The SUPERBOWL is supposed to be FUN. The political ads will still be there for the rest of the year on every channel. FOX realized that there is a time and a place for everything and to be bombarded with political ads just takes a big ol chunk of fun right out of a special event! YOU GUYS ROCK!
