Mistakes People Make Feeding Cats {Pawnation OLD}
Jan 7th 2011 9:06AM I've been perusing the comments to see if anyone would mention the "ash" factor in cat food. Thanks for bringing it up. From what I understand, it happens mostly in male cats. I had a brother & sister 30 yrs ago born in my house. At 3 yrs old, the male developed blockage in his bladder. We were unaware of the symptoms & by the time we got him in for surgery it was too late. The vet operated but my baby died 3 days later.I was heartbroken and from that day on, I'm sure people at the supermarket thought I was crazy because I would always ask if they had a male cat and go on and on about the evils of ash lol ! I try to keep it at 3.0 or 2.5 if I can. Btw, the female lived to almost 18 yrs old.
Why does Kate Gosselin dance last? It's about your pocketbook {WalletPop}

Why does Kate Gosselin dance last? It's about your pocketbook {WalletPop}
Apr 14th 2010 5:24PM Kate is the ONLY one with no experience dancing and no experience in front of a live audience...since she's improving, can we give he a chance ?? I always thought she was a nag but as I look back, she had to be.....too many kids and Jon always had to be told what to do....I can't blame her....and in spite of the fame she's had, I still don't think she knows how to handle it...just my opinion...

When Should My Daughters Be Bathing Without My Supervision? {ParentDish}
Dec 29th 2009 11:07PM I'm impressed with Mr Clean raising his daughters and taking every moment he can to bond with them...I think that's wonderful...and I think he has the right idea...one of the girls will let you know when she's uncomfortable...as Deanna said, probably around 9-10 when they're more aware of their body...but as long as everyone is comfortable and it's fun, I say go for it ! Family time right before bedtime is the best ! Good luck !
Opinion: Suffering Kids Are Not Funny {ParentDish}
Dec 29th 2009 10:52PM I agree that this is nowhere near abuse. He couldn't get out and he knew he did something wrong. But he also knew mommy and daddy were both right there. They didn't walk out and leave him alone. As one poster said, if they pulled him out immediately he would've learned that he can do whatever he wants and mom and dad will bail him out. Not a good lesson to learn so young. I think they taught him a lesson without any harm. And besides, I don't think most people were laughing...I think they were smiling and thinking "Oh how cute is he ?"
Jill Schulz, Daughter of Late 'Peanuts' Creator Charles Schulz Says No One Will Ever Continue Strip {ParentDish}
Nov 6th 2009 10:33AM My 5 yr old daughter absolutely loves the Peanuts specials. She knows all the characters by name and will probably start reading the strip in our paper when she learns to read. So how can Vince say our future generations will be deprived ? As his daughter said, Mr Schultz wrote about things that were pertinent then and still are. The characters are ageless and so are the situations. No one knows the Peanuts gang like Charles Schultz did. How could someone else know what they would say or do.

Teens can't trick-or-treat in this Illinois town {ParentDish}
Oct 27th 2008 12:32AM I never have a problem with older kids trick or treating. They're always polite and usually have creative costumes! I especially like it because we don't eat candy at our house. For the past 3 yrs, 3 high school boys would come back right before 8PM (our cutoff time) because they knew I'd just give them the rest of the candy. I'll miss them when they go off to college !
