Oct 9th 2008 2:08PM This is the first series I've seen. I'm wondering if there's any rule about releasing all the competitors at the same time after they land at an airport, as many of the teams have huge bags and otherwise carry-on only would give a great advantage?
Even so, why do they have so much stuff, given how much they have to run around with it? Is it useful for barter later in the race?
Working out a optimal packing-list for the show is an interesting mental exercise :)
(Admittedly I'm currently traveling with way too much stuff myself - but then, I'm not in a race.)
