GM to shut down Saturn brand {Daily Finance}

Sep 30th 2009 7:26PM It's really going to be sad because they have done pretty well during the almost twenty years that they started making these cars. I'm a Saturn owner and I've had nothing, but good luck with this car. I've had it eight years; although, the car's eleven years old and it's in really good condition. When it comes to repairs, I most of the time take it to Pep Boys for service and the only time I will take the car to the dealership to have some repairs done is if Pep Boys doesn't have the particular part. But now that the dealerships are going to be phased out, I will now have to take it to a private garage to have certain things repaired.

'Orphan' Angers Adoptive Parents {ParentDish}

Jul 22nd 2009 8:09PM I'm into action-filled movies and some horror movies and I'm actually looking forward to watching this movie in the near future. I've seen the commericals on this and I certainly wouldn't mind watching this movie. I like those that are the edge-of-your-seat types. They're well worth watching because without it, it's not even considered a movie.

Boy, 3, Survives River Ride in Toy Car {ParentDish}

Jul 14th 2009 10:25PM The toddler was certainly lucky to be alive because he could have drowned in those raging rapid waters. But never for a split second should anyone let a toddler out of their sight. I hope the parents and grandparents don't punish this child because at his age, he doesn't know any better and so that's why these youngsters need constant supervision. The adults are the ones to be held responsible.

Soul Singer Fayette Pinkney Dies at 61 {Spinner}

Jul 1st 2009 7:13PM I liked that group "The Three Degrees." They were a really cool group back in the seventies and one of my favorite songs was T.S.O.P. It's a great song and it's really sad to know that one of their members have passed.

Student Denied Diploma After Blowing Kiss to Mom {Asylum}

Jun 17th 2009 7:16PM That is just so outrageous that the superintendent would go as far as denying this kid his high school diploma for blowing a kiss to his own mother? That's about how truly dysfunctional anymore these days people are becoming. There isn't anything offensive about what this kid did. There's nothing offensive or sexual about this. I mean come on, it's his own flesh and blood and these people want to meddle into this kid and his mother's lives? It's not her place to tell this child what and how he should be behaving towards his mother. In other words, this kid didn't commit a crime. They need to back off and leave both the kid and his mother alone.

Giorgio Armani Thinks American Women's Perfume is Too Strong {Stylelist}

May 27th 2009 7:03PM It's really sad that some of the people from other countries complain about the scent of the perfume that we American women wear. I have never had an issue and I don't see why these people should complain. Hey, if they dislike the scent, they certainly have the option of just exiting the room. We should not have to change our way for them. Just like they wouldn't want us to attempt to change their ways. We have the freedom to choose what we prefer to wear and that also includes the choice of perfume.
