Kerry Campbell, Mom Who Gives 8-Year-Old Botox, Being Investigated by Child Welfare Services (Video) {Stylelist}

May 13th 2011 2:40PM Botox: Black Box Warning
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) now requires that Botox and similar products carry a black box warning about a rare but potentially life-threatening complication that may occur if the toxin spreads beyond the injection site. This is the strongest warning that can be issued by the FDA.

Importantly, none of these complications occurred among individuals using Botox for cosmetic reasons. Most of the hospitalizations and deaths were seen in children with cerebral palsy who were treated with botulinum toxin for muscle spasms. Some serious hospitalizations have been reported in adults treated with botulinum toxin for involuntary muscle movement and frequent neck spasms.

Protect yourself from Botox risks and complications by:

Choosing a qualified physician. Botox shots require a precise knowledge of facial anatomy. Your risk of complications increases when these injections are placed in unskilled hands.

RSVPing "no" to Botox parties. Botox and other injectables such as Sculptra should always be administered with sterile instruments in an appropriate setting (a doctor's office or a medical spa) — not in your neighbor's living room!

Lisa Bonet Style Evolution {Stylelist}

Nov 17th 2010 12:31AM
I wondered whatever happened to Lisa Bonet. She changed her name and unless I scroll back up I can never remember it. She was way cool back in the day. She looks different now, I guess we all change somewhat. Okay, I scrolled back up and copied her name - Lilikoi Moon. Not sure why she changed her name, but I just wish I could remember it, probably a lot of her fans have the same problem. I think she's very interesting and I wish her the best. Time for a comeback, girl! You still got it goin' on! Just remind everyone who you are,(like, you could put "formerly Lisa Bonet" or "nee Lisa Bonet") and people will flock back to check you out, lot's of us out here really dig ya'. Loved seeing all the photos. You GO GIRL!

Doctors Say BMI Is Bogus {Lemondrop}

Sep 10th 2010 10:47AM T"doc?"T - Actually, there are three or more bone sizes - small, medium and large and everything in between. Sorry, T, but your complete lack of knowledge of anatomy is showing. Here is a quick way to help you understand it.
Measure your wrist. There will be great differences in this measurement. A tiny wrist or a large wrist measurement indicate the size of the bones, indicating small bones, medium bones or large bones. I realize it takes some investigation to fully comprehend this, but I explained it simply and it should be simple to understand. Get it now?
As for five pounds is five pounds, well, take a five pound sack of flour of feathers and a five pound beef roast. The roast beef will be smaller, and take up less room than the five pounds of feathers. Just as five pound of muscle will take up less room per square inch than five pounds of fluffly fat.
Therefore, a person with larger bones and more muscle will look thinner, with their bones being very prominent, than a small bones person with lack of muscle tone and more fat surrounding their small bones, who will look chubby
and fat, but which person will weigh more? The small boned chubby person will weigh less than the muscluar big boned person who looks slim.
The best scales were the Metropolitan life height and weight scales which sorted people into small, medium and large "frames" according to gender
and height. If we bring those scales back, people will have a much more accurate idea of how they rank, in terms of being overweight. A small bones chubby person with lack of muscle tone will realize they are overweight, while a
larger boned, muscular person of the same height, will see that they fit right into the correct weight for their frame. It is time to go back to those more accurate charts, in order to help everyone realize what weight is correct for their own bone structure. This can only make everyone better informed and ultimately, more healthy for life.

ELO Cellist Mike Edwards Killed in Hay Bale Crash {Spinner}

Sep 7th 2010 10:11AM Neesee - You read way too much into my gentle little comment. Perhaps I am the only one that noticed that the authorities could not find any family members. That is a fact, not an opinion. Can't help it I read and comprehend. You might want to try it. I think you need some psychological help. Judgemental of others much? Yes, you are. Calling names and acting out at people, such as myself who give a man credit for making good music is way over the line, lady.
Get some help, you have anger issues that stink.
BTW- No, I am not "jealous" but you sure sling that fast, so I think you need to understand what the word means, sounds like you don't. Why on earth would I be jealous of a man who was killed and they can't find his family. Get help, mental help, you need it.
BTW- my friends and family tell me I am the most unselfish person in the world. So, you are a bad judge of character and a loose cannon. Get help.

High Heel Gladiator Sandals: Still Hot! {Shopping Articles Blog}

Jul 8th 2010 2:33AM I love the comeback of hot shoes! Everyone tells me I have great legs, and
they look really good in platform shoes and sandals. I love wearing them, too.
I don't much like flats, *hahaha* Heels probably have kept my legs in shape, like, forever. Or maybe working out helps.
Those who can't wear them, sorry for "ya'" *lol* But, the glamour and the sexiness of good platform heels really rock my world. Love 'em, always have, probably always will. Thanks fashion industry, they look GOOD.

Molly Ringwald on '80s Fashion, Plastic Surgery, and Mullets {Stylelist}

Jun 2nd 2010 10:25AM Molly, for one thing, you have pretty red hair. However, it is flat and straight, and will never be naturally full or "poufy", unless you have a lot of work done on it. For those of us who have thick, wavy, curly, big, frizzy, or "poufy" hair, it's something we deal with every day of our lives. You can never naturally rock that look, yourself, naturally, but it never left. You can't bring it back, but others of us have it naturally. I constantly get called a "young woman", but I am a little older than you. I agree that it's all about attitude, and, let's face it, it's about looks.
I am always amazed when ladies with straight hair, like Rose O'Donnel, think it's just fine to criticize people with hair that they don't have themselves. You never hear a person with full, frizzy, curly, thick or "poufy" hair criticize people with straight hair. Straight haired people must think the rest of us actually do that to our hair. No, it just happens naturally, and we have to do a lot to it to tame it, straighten it, or just work with it. Just my humble thoughts on all the celebritites who comment on hair that they don't have.
Molly, you look a little older than your years. Glad you're dealing with it in a healthy, positive way.

Til Bed Do Us Part {Shelterpop}

May 20th 2010 12:01AM Great idea! I love it. It is so comfy to sleep in your own bed. I got married young, had my kids and always slept in the same bed as my husband. Now, as a teacher with a good job, I need my sleep.
My husband snores and breathes way too loud for me. I always put up with it, until I had an idea. We have several empty bedrooms with wonderful comfy beds. One night I decided to read a book in one of the spare bedrooms and feel asleep there. It was so comfortable, I got a fantastic nights sleep. Since we have sex whenever we want to, it has nothing to do with sex. *lol* It has to do with the fact that I have been the wife who has slept with her hubby for years and now I want my sexy body to sleep naked and cool with a fan and a fabulous bed. I have the most wonderful dreams, too. I get to sleep in the most wonderful bed, I feel fantastic, and I get to get up and teach. I love teaching, I was born to teach. Back to seperate beds: This will keep people married a long, long time and make both of them very happy. After you have slept with your mate for many years, you realize it isn't the most important thing in the world. It is incredibly liberating to have some peace and quiet in your own bed at night. Not everyone has the money to have seperate bedrooms and nice seperate beds, but we do. I love how it is a new trend. So many people are crammed into way too small of beds and are crabby, and don't get a good nights rest. They pretend it's okay, but they are much happier in their own wonderful, comfy bed! I just started sleeping in my own bedroom, about a few months ago. My husband snores loudly and I don't like it. He says he misses me in the bed, but I am such a happy girl with my own liberated sleeping. I love it and I am so happy! I am glad to know I am on the cutting edge of trendiness. Also this article mentions how sleeping apart has been the norm thoughout history, but sleeping together has only been common within the recent past. Wow, I am a trend setter, and a very happy one too. ;) I love it!

Study Shows Men Have A Longer Sex Life {Personal Articles}

Apr 17th 2010 12:18AM The article, in full, at a different website, states that this "survey" involved 3000 people in 1996, and 3000 people in 2006. That's 10 years difference and only 3000 peole each time.
As in every sex survey, there is no way of knowing if any of the responses are true. The older men could be lying, and why not? No one will ever know if they are really having all that sex in their old age, these surveys are questionable.
Plus, all menopause involves is stopping having monthly blood. Ladies, stop thinking you are finished when you stop bleeding every month. If you believe you are still sexy, then you will be perceived as being sexy.
Take care of yourself and you will look sexy.
Who wants to bleed anyway, be happy you aren't bleeding every month.
I never believe random sex surveys anyway. Let's face it, people lie. Plus, you have to add that some people surveyed were gay, lesbian, asexual, celibate, handicapped, transgendered, etc. Just know that this survey is not to be believed because we have no way of knowing if any of this is true or false. It is NOT A SCIENTIFIC SURVEY.
So, live your life as you wish it to be. Do you want sex? Find a way to get mutually consentual sex and go do it. Do you hate sex? Then, don't have it. Do you love sex? Then, find a partner who wants to have sex with you, it's really that simple. Don't let some unprovable survey dictate your life. Find 3000 different people and take a new survey. My guess is the old men will skew the results by lying about their sex lives. Men want to feel they have a lot of sex, but who knows if they really do or not?
Did they survey nuns? Come on, this is just a random survey, don't think this survey is a fact, it is just conjecture and possibly, just false.
