Galley Gossip: Electronic devices & the passenger with the cat-like reflexes {Gadling}

May 6th 2011 1:00PM I, for one, would like to see a video of headphones off, and computer closed. I always seem to be on the calm flights. Either that it is because I'm usually asleep thru most of the flight.

Ask Gadling: What to do when you have to fly coach {Gadling}

Oct 21st 2010 11:01AM Fly on United and pay the fee for the Economy Plus seats or fly the same airline enough to get a first class comp from time to time.

GM confirms smaller dealer network, upgrades in the works {Autoblog}

Aug 6th 2010 10:24PM The GM Dealer here has WI-FI set up (at all of their brand stores actually). However, they have parental controls. Really really really strong parental controls. Social Networking sites don't work. Instant Messaging doesn't work. You're pretty much down to news, weather, and some sports (ESPN media doesn't play, just the articles). So it is pretty much useless, and of no benefit if you want to do any online type games to waste time.

Scientists question safety of airport full body scanners {Gadling}

May 18th 2010 11:07PM Graphic images are the best way to get the point across here. My comment was not regarding them being published here, but the photos overall.
Unless there is a medical reason someone viewing my "swimsuit area" is not going to happen.

Scientists question safety of airport full body scanners {Gadling}

May 18th 2010 8:18PM Those pictures are a bit too detailed.
If someone is gonna see that much of me, they had better be a doctor, my better half, or paying me a substantial amount of funds.

What is "Travelers Night In"? {Gadling}

Apr 21st 2010 11:10PM its horrible, and i absoultely wish Gadling wouldn't do it.
I hope that Gadling realises that some of use use an RSS feed or an app on our mobile phones that with the crazy amount of tweets that come through push out the interesting ones.

Also, you call it Traveler's *NIGHT* In but yet start it at 3:30pm. I guess the Gadling crew is getting old and needs to be done in time for the early bird special and in bed by 7pm.

How do you pass the time in airports during delays? {Gadling}

Feb 25th 2010 10:50AM I have a membership at Continental's President's Club. Ergo, I eat free snacks, and get toasty on the free beverages.

Ryanair dumps passengers on wrong island - doesn't care {Gadling}

Feb 19th 2010 10:35PM @ Cavedog - How did you fly RyanAir in the U.S. and/or to the Caribbean? They don't fly to either destination.

Every carrier makes a big oops now and then. This is seemingly worse than usual. Its one thing being diverted to an airport that the carrier usually flies to and having to go standby on them, it's another to be diverted and told "Good Luck" to an airport that the carrier doesn't even fly to.

Snow in all 50 U.S. states {Gadling}

Feb 13th 2010 1:01PM Considering that the "expert" is only "confident" with no actual source of data since no photo was taken, one can't actually say that there was snow on the ground in all 50 states. To use an additional source (http://www.usatoday.com/weather/news/2010-02-11-nationwide-snow_N.htm) it appears that Hawaii' was the hold out.

Foods named after places. That's all. {Gadling}

Jan 18th 2010 11:08PM Seriously, how could you miss this one.
