Sep 25th 2008 11:59AM Very appreciative of your "blog," Kent. You live the life many of us wish we had been able to puruse but didn't (either because we didn't believe it achievable or because life simply took us a different directioin...maybe both, I guess).
I was in southwest Arkansas when Ike passed over...my wife and I went to the small county airport to watch the clouds fly by and to experience some of the wind. The little town we were in (Magnolia) managed to avoid the severe weather with bands on either side of us.
