Aug 12th 2011 4:26PM Well, in that 1 article, I got far more information, far better explained, than I had on any news report or article since the tragedy occurred. Even though I'm a recreational small craft pilot, I still wasn't quite understanding a lot of what was being released about the accident. Now, I get it completely. I can get a sense of what they saw and felt (albeit to a very minute degree). I can't begin to fathom the frustration and fear that must have set in once they knew the flight was doomed and that there was zero chance of survival for anyone as they rocketed to the sea at over 120MPH. This reads to me more as a design and procedure flaw than it does pilot error. Form what I've read, they did what they were supposedly supposed to do in the situation they thought they were in.

Jul 27th 2010 8:07AM Someone needs to do their math. It's impossible to drive from NY to CA in 2 days stopping constantly to shoot the video, get gas and eat. The video is only about 2 minutes long, but you have to factor in getting off the main highway, getting to the location, traffic, parking, etc, etc, for each shot. They'd have to be driving about Mach 1 (not really, but you understand) allowing for all the stops, and based on the number of different shots in this clip, Each minute they aren't driving raises the MPH speed they have to go to make the 2 day timeframe. Nice project, but not done in 2 days.
