May 7th 2009 2:32PM Please know that I could come in contact with the same thing this gentleman did, fallen and scraped my knee in the same exact place and I wouldn't have been infected with N. F. Some people are going to get N..F. and some are not. Yes, washing your hands is a good thing. Yes, all cruise ships should go overboard cleaning common areas and the areas in which are not occupied by the average passenger...but, you should not go through your day, thinking this could happen to me. It's been around for a long time, the media just likes to exploit things that make us worry. Have a great day, pray for those who have it and look both ways before you cross the street.

Jan 29th 2009 3:56PM I would think all the "greenies" would love this. All those USPS vehicles off the street for an extra day, not to mention all the employees who would not have to drive to and from work on that day. I do think the Post office should still remain open on the "no deliver" day. Also, if you are living paycheck to paycheck, get a Post Office Box. This way you don't have to wait for the Post Office to come to you, you can drive to them and pick up your needed check.

Do not allow your young children to watch the news, cop shows, or any other show where a child can develop a mindset that guns and shooting people is a way of life. This also includes the movies you take your children to see and the video games they watch their older siblings play. They become desensatized to violence, blood, gore and death at a very young age (this article is proof). They do not learn that communicating is the smart way to solve a problem. Wake Up American Parents and although you are tired after working, take your kids outside and play!

Jan 6th 2009 4:04PM This is just another attempt for a Private school to charge more money. They are trying to make their "place of learning" sound more elitist and in doing so, making those who have to go to "school", feel as if they are attending a place for the poor. Another way to segregate those who have and those who have not. We do not need our children, starting their young lives, feeling as though they cannot succeed, because they can't afford to go to a place of learning.

Sep 18th 2008 12:42PM Didn't your mother every tell you, "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say it at all"? Please stop using your poor language and slandering of each candidate. I don't care who you are voting for and I'm not going to slam the candidate who will not receive my vote. If I use a bunch of foul language and lies about a person I don't know (only what the "media" has written, instead of reading the candidates official records on my own) I am lowering myself down to a level of scum. A lot of these posts are bloggers being paid to write this garbage. When you stand up for your candidate, please do so without making an idiot of yourself and using profanity and making up lies about the other candidates. This country of ours is a wonderful place to live. We need to pray that the right individuals are voted in to help direct the U S of A in a positive way. One last comment, when one points a finger at an individual and makes an outrageous claim, the rest of the fingers are pointing right back at you. Keep your finger gestures to yourself.
