Tracy Morgan Returns to Nashville: 'I Didn't Mean It' {PopEater}

Jun 22nd 2011 6:06AM Maybe when gay people are finally treated like other people instead of cheap punchlines to bad jokes, they'll stop taking offense at being, well, cheap punchlines to bad jokes. Just a thought ...

Cary Grant's Daughter Opens Up on His Devotion, Style and Sexuality {PopEater}

May 9th 2011 6:15AM That question about Grant's full head of hair has to be the dumbest collection of words to ever appear in print. Even if it was meant as a joke. The dumbest. Ever.

Motherhood Moments: Coping with Mother's Day When Mom is in Decline or Gone {ParentDish}

May 9th 2011 4:55AM I'm writing this for readers who still have living mothers and now, after reading this story and comments, must be shaking in their boots for when the day comes that Mom is no longer with you. Yes, it hurts more than words can describe and holidays can be tortuous, especially at first. It would be wrong to minimize that or to say that some of that pain lingers long, perhaps forever.

But it doesn't have to be the life sentence of suffering so many of these commenters are experiencing. Many people get past loss and, after grieving, go on to lead happy lives. I'm not passing judgement on those whose grief knows no end - they have my prayers. It's just not necessary to accept lifelong paralysis from sadness as the cost of loving. I can't think of a mother worth her salt who would wish that on her surviving children; what a horrible legacy.

So for those who celebrated this Mother's Day with their mothers, continue (or start!) to love them wholeheartedly. Grieve hard when they leave us but know that can ease over time, and not leave a gaping wound that never heals. You can, and should, find peace -- it's what your mother would want you to have.

Same Old Sandwich? Go International with Mexican Cemitas {Kitchen Daily}

Apr 27th 2011 5:22AM You folks certainly can't seriously think most people can just whip one of these things up to replace a "tired old peanut butter and jelly sandwich." Aside from secret ingredients and others that either aren't readily availabe or require a good deal of preparation themselves, the premise that you can just replace a regular sandwich with one of these is ridiculous -- unless you have the good fortune to live near a great Mexican luncheon spot or have live-in help from south of the border.

Color-Coded Bread Bag Ties: Who Knew? {Kitchen Daily}

Apr 23rd 2011 4:02AM Not only color-coded, the bread I buy and most others I see in the stores have huge "Buy by" dates stamped on the packages so there's no need for shoppers to remember or be concerned in the least with tie or clip color.

Gay Housing Project Slated for Palm Springs {AOL Real Estate}

Feb 19th 2011 3:45AM Article refers to LGBT community -- you're the "B", so it looks like you're in!

Top Breaches of Net Etiquette at Work {AOL Jobs}

Feb 17th 2011 5:17AM I recently bought a new cell phone at my local Sprint store. Since it was a much more advanced phone than my previous one, I was happy to be offered the Sprint "Ready Now" service -- a brief tutorial by the sales rep on using the new phone. But the guy kept answering his own cellphone throughout the lesson, to ask me each time he finished, "Now where were we." I got so disgusted that I finally replied, "Here's where we are, keep your phone." The clueless d*bag actually seemed shocked, not a shred of remorse over his rudeness.

Westminster Dog Show 2011 - Behind the Scenes {Pawnation OLD}

Feb 16th 2011 4:47AM Do you realize that what you are considering "cruel" to these dogs is exactly what millions of women pay for each week at the beauty salon? And that the breeding programs of responsible breeders contributes heavily to the health and well-being of their respective breeds? Your persecution complex on this issue is really misplaced; if you want to do something to really help dogs (instead of just leveling false, ridiculous charges here at people who invest their time, money and hearts in their dogs) volunteer at a local shelter where those animals need all the help they can get.

Guys Finally Get Ex-Girlfriend Jeans {Shopping Articles Blog}

Feb 13th 2011 4:17AM But large homosexuals won't fit into these jeans, girlfriend ... it will be smaller homosexuals, if any, who buy 'em!

Christina Aguilera Botches National Anthem at Super Bowl, Admits Mistake {PopEater}

Feb 7th 2011 5:59AM Christina sounded awful as well as flubbing the lyrics. Lea Michelle also goofed with "mountain majesties" instead of "mountains majesty" -- where's the criticism of Glee's darling?
