Sep 21st 2010 7:53PM To ALL the bashers...At least McDonald's gives a penny per sale, which is a huge percentage of ther 10 - 15 cent profit (I don't see anyone else doing it!), and most importantly to benefit the Ronald McDonald's Children Charities. I commend them for their generosity to the children AND their families. I personally have seen, through friends, the kindness and support shown in those RMCC homes. It's wonderful. They take care of many of the needs of the children and families when the child is in the hospital for care. The families in some cases wouldn't be able to stay with or near the child because they'd have to pay for hotel and transportation, McDonald's takes care of families in a stressful, scary, and often times painful situation. I say that's pretty damn thoughtful in my book.

HEY american per your reply and just so you know in future...Profit is the excess of returns over expenditure in a transaction or series of transactions; especially the excess of the selling price of goods over their cost, and proceeds are the net amount received (as for a check or from an insurance settlement) after deduction of any discount or charges, so not the same thing at all.

Now, to the matter at hand...our thoughts and prayers are with Remmy's family as well as the victim and theirs. Hopefully this will all be sorted soon.
