Dec 7th 2009 10:58PM I know a guy who was sent a link and opened it. It turned out to be kiddie porn so he just deleted it and forgot about it. He is about to start serving 5 years in prison which is total bullsh*t. If they can look to see when it was down loaded can't they also check to see if you ever went back to look at it??? I think they probably can.
I downloaded a file from Limewire once that I thought was a Spongebob cartoon and it was hardcore porn so I just deleted it. This is why I don't download anything anymore unless it is completely reputable.
But I do think the FBI could find a better use of their time than busting people who obviously downloaded this crap by mistake.

Nov 21st 2009 8:42AM ARE YOU KIDDING??? Haven't you ever gotten really bad service from a waitperson? If not, you are lucky. I've gotten such bad service at times (and some excellent service too) that I want to confront the person, but I don't.
AND, I've noticed that the tip percentage has increased (due to inflation???)... why is this??? The cost of my meal has increased so doesn't that automatically increase the amount of the time. Why is the percentage higher too?
If a tip is mandatory, then they either need to post it in big letters on the front door and menu or just pay the people a decent wage and add it to the price of a meal.
I hate tipping anymore. Everybody has their hand out to get a gratuity for most jobs that they already get paid for.
Wait til the next time you have surgery and your doctor has a tip jar in the operating room...

Nov 20th 2009 10:11AM If I am invited to a person's home or party, the food isn't really what matters. What matters is the atmosphere and that I can be socially comfortable and be able to say that I enjoyed the entire evening (or whatever time of day) when I think about it later.
I'm thinking that I'd rather be with Rachel Ray than Martha any day. I know Martha is probably more detail oriented (anal), but I just want to have a good time with out being pretentious.

Besides, if this child has just survived some kind of disaster or trauma, it's more important to protect their mental well being than some CHANCE that there might be a milligram of lead paint that they might not even be exposed to.

Oct 27th 2009 5:42PM I thought with modern technology the appliances were all getting more energy efficient. I can't imagine that the newer TV's use more energy than those old tube type TV's that put out all the heat. I know it takes a lot of energy to create heat.

Sep 22nd 2009 7:12PM I have a Chihuahua and he does not go outside unless I am somewhere close by even though I have a fenced in yard. There are birds large enough to snatch him up in a hurry and that's not gonna happen on my watch. If you love your dog and it's not in a pen you need to keep it on a leash. I feel sorry for Jessica for the loss of her pet.
Anyone who isn't sorry for her loss just needs to be ignored.
